Story
Life happened to our beautiful girl called Zoey.  This 5 year old Pembroke Corgi girl has been a comfort to her momma who has been fighting cancer and the treatments have exhausted her human.  Zoey's mom wants her to have a new home and people who will care for her with walks and love and happy times.  She loves Zoey too much to hold on to her.  Zoey has missed her exercise time and gained a few extra pounds during this time her mom is moving slow.  At 28 pounds Zoey is in need of good long walks and some monitored food portions.  Her mom says that Zoey would be a great only dog and would serve her kingdom well as Queen of the Household.  She loves all people and gets along with dogs most of the time but doesn't like them rushing up to her face.  She is housebroken and loves to snuggle with you on the sofa.   She is a delightful Corgi through and through and will give a new family the best that she has to give of herself.  She is up to date on all vetting and spayed and microchipped.  She is being prepared now for the change in her life.  She accepts the fact that she will be moving and we are looking for the right family that will be patient as she settles in to a new rhythm in her life.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 16, 2026, 3:05 pm

Story
Peter Feeter is a precious 6 month old purebred Corgi. This guy is the best of the breed - silly, sweet, and brave. He loves other dogs, kids, and all of the farm animals at his foster home. With his adorably floppy ears, he will instantly melt your heart. Peter loves to be pet and cuddled and is absolutely precious when he snoozes on his back with his little legs in the air.He is crate trained, housetrained if kept on a schedule, and working on his basic commands. This cutie is a true gem of a boy! He adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion and a yard to romp and play in. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Foxy is a wonderful 6.5-year-old Corgi/Shiba Inu mix who is looking for her forever home. Weighing 39 pounds, Foxy is a beautiful and incredibly intelligent dog with a loving personality that shines once she builds trust. Foxy thrives on daily exercise, enjoying walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. She is house-trained and knows basic commands. Her favorite things include playing fetch, chewing on her toys, and relaxing with her licky pad. Foxy would do best in a calm, structured home with an owner experienced in handling reactive dogs. She can be wary of new people and other dogs, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, she quickly opens up to reveal her goofy and affectionate nature. Story
Hi there! My name is Petunia, and I have a very important announcement to make: I am officially accepting applications for my forever family, and belly-rubbing skills are a HUGE plus! I am not only a 5 year old purebred Corgi, but a queen of cuddles, future fitness star, and professional belly rub beggar! Just look at me! I’ve got the adorable Corgi ears, the happy smile, the irresistible charm, and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. My favorite things in life include spending time with my favorite humans, soaking up affection, and getting belly rubs. Lots and lots of belly rubs. Honestly, if you have two free hands, I think I know exactly what you should be doing with them! Now, I do have one little thing I need help with. I’m carrying a few extra pounds at the moment, and while I think my curves at 37 pounds are pretty cute, my little Corgi legs would probably appreciate a little less weight to carry around! So, I’m looking for a family who will commit to my weight-loss journey with healthy meals, appropriate portions, regular walks, and fun activities to help me get into tip-top shape. I promise to provide plenty of moral support, enthusiastic tail wags, and adorable encouragement along the way! My ideal family understands that helping me reach a healthy weight is an important part of keeping me happy, healthy, and comfortable for years to come. And don’t worry, there will still be plenty of room in my schedule for cuddles and belly rubs between workouts! I don’t think my adoption wish list is that demanding and In return, I promise to fill your days with smiles, your home with happiness, and your heart with Corgi-sized amounts of love (which, trust me, is a LOT!).So, what do you say? Are you ready to welcome a little sunshine named Petunia into your life? I may need a little help getting my waistline back, but I already have the personality of a superstar!
