Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. At 9 years old and 16 lbs., Wheezy was surrendered to the shelter when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. To say she was scared is an understatement.  Wheezy was very happy to get out of the shelter with us and simply cuddled up for a nice ride home.   Wheezy is good with both dogs and cats. She is well-behaved in the home and can be left home without being destructive. The best news of all, she is housebroken. She is a great girl who is looking for a second chance with a family of her own. Wheezy has been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and had a dental done where they needed to remove several of her teeth. Wheezy has recently been diagnosed with Cushing disease which is being treated with daily medication. OUR RESCUE WILL COVER THE COST OF HER MEDICATION. She is doing great with it and will make a wonderful pet for a lucky family. Story
Age: 2 years old Weight: 20 lbs Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, female Meet Millie, a little girl with a big heart! Millie is calm, gentle, and super affectionate. She loves being close to her people and getting lots of cuddles and attention. She’s house-trained and really easy to have around the house. Millie walks nicely on a leash and comes when you call her. She also loves chasing a ball and will even bring it back. On walks, she’s happy to meet other dogs and people. She gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t like being in a big pack—she prefers her space and a quieter vibe. She really loves attention and can get a little jealous if another dog is getting all the love, so she might do best as the only dog or with a calm furry friend who respects her space. Millie is a sweet, loving dog and would be a great fit for a calm, caring family. Ready to adopt? Fill out our adoption application! Story
Comer is a precious 9-year-old Corgi/Terrier mix who’s sure to capture your heart. Weighing in at a perfect 30 lbs, she’s the ideal size to curl up on your lap for a cozy cuddle or snuggle beside you after a long day. While she may be considered a senior, Comer’s heart and energy are young at spirit, and she’s ready to live her best life with you! Sadly, Comer had to be surrendered back to Eleventh Hour Rescue after her previous owner became ill. Despite this, Comer’s resilience shines through. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who  is great with cats, currently living with a foster feline sibling. While Comer seems comfortable with feline friends, she can be picky about her canine friends, and that is why a home with no other dogs would be ideal for her. Comer is friendly and loves to spend time with her humans, but she can be a bit nervous around men. A gentle, patient introduction to new male family members will help her feel comfortable and build trust. Whether she’s lounging with you on the couch or enjoying a playful moment, her joyful personality will surely brighten your day. House-trained, crate-trained, and a model car passenger, Comer is a well-behaved companion who’s ready to bring happiness and comfort to her forever home. She’s up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $215, a small price for a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly best friend who will shower you with affection, Comer might be the perfect match for you. Apply today at EHRDOGS.ORG and ask for COMER — she can’t wait to meet you! March 20, 2025, 12:31 pm

** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Dabin👋 Dabin was found wandering the streets of South Korea when she was about a year old and ended up in a high-risk city shelter in July 2024. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time, right before her scheduled euthanasia, and placed in a loving foster home. Sadly, her foster family is no longer able to care for her due to personal reasons, and she’s at risk of being sent back to the shelter soon. We're hoping to find her a forever home before that happens—because Dabin is more than ready to meet her person and start the next chapter of her life! • Personality: Gentle, Sweet, Quiet Dabin is a calm, low-maintenance girl with a heart of gold. She may be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience, her affectionate and loving nature will shine through. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, so she'd be a great companion if you already have a pup at home. Her mid-to-low energy level makes her the perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed and easygoing furry friend. • Affinity with - Dogs: Great with other dogs! She loves playing and running with them. - Cats: Tries to chase out of curiosity during walks - Adults/Kids: She needs more time to warm up to men. / Not much interested in kids. • Walking Manners: Generally good on a leash! • Housetrained: Completely housebroken, going potty outdoors. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Car Sickness: A little bit of drooling, but it will improve with more experiences. • Separation Anxiety: None • Barks/Howls: Almost none • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well / No allergies • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: She likes going for walks and loves playing with other dogs! / Not a fan of playing tug-of-war or catch. • Health: A healthy girl!

Story
** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Car Sickness: in training • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!
