House trained: Working on it! Energy level: Low Noise level: I'm a bit chatty My foster guardian says: "My favorite thing about Marbles is that she is sooooo snuggly! She is always down to cuddle on the couch, sit on your lap, or be as close as canine-ly possible to her people!" Hi, I'm Marbles! My foster family says that I have personality for days, and I can't wait to share that with my forever family! I love being with my people, and getting all the attention in the world from my favorite humans. I do best with slow intros to new people, but once I've warmed up, I'm the biggest cuddle-bug ever! Some of my favorite activities include going for walks, eating snacks, and being a couch potato. I'm a super smart girly, and I like learning new tricks too! As your resident Corgi, I'm confident, and think I make amazing decisions. I'd do best in a forever family that is excited about continuing training with me, because I love learning new things, I'm a big fan of treats, and I thrive with structure. Since I love my humans so much, I don't have much need for canine friends. I like other dogs fine, and if I'd be okay having a doggy sibling, but its definitely not a must. What is a must, you ask? Humans that want to cuddle obviously! I can't wait to join my new family, and start sharing all my love with them! If you're losing your marbles over how cute I am, apply to adopt me today! Story
Life happened to our beautiful girl called Zoey.  This 5 year old Pembroke Corgi girl has been a comfort to her momma who has been fighting cancer and the treatments have exhausted her human.  Zoey's mom wants her to have a new home and people who will care for her with walks and love and happy times.  She loves Zoey too much to hold on to her.  Zoey has missed her exercise time and gained a few extra pounds during this time her mom is moving slow.  At 28 pounds Zoey is in need of good long walks and some monitored food portions.  Her mom says that Zoey would be a great only dog and would serve her kingdom well as Queen of the Household.  She loves all people and gets along with dogs most of the time but doesn't like them rushing up to her face.  She is housebroken and loves to snuggle with you on the sofa.   She is a delightful Corgi through and through and will give a new family the best that she has to give of herself.  She is up to date on all vetting and spayed and microchipped.  She is being prepared now for the change in her life.  She accepts the fact that she will be moving and we are looking for the right family that will be patient as she settles in to a new rhythm in her life.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 14, 2026, 7:51 pm

Story
Murphy adores people, car-rides, and walks. He knows many commands (place, down, come) house-trained, and crate-trained. He sleeps much of the day but is eager for three walks a day and a few minutes of play/training sessions. He enjoys eating his food in dog puzzles/games and frozen Kongs. Murphy has successfully lived with a cat and isn't reactive to cats on walks, so he'd likely do well with one at home. After 10 months, though, he still doesn't get along with our resident dog, so he needs to be the only dog. He can be reactive to dogs on walks, but we've taught him to look at other dogs for a treat, and he's now a confident walker. He loves greeting children on walks, but because of past territorial behavior, a home with young children wouldn't be ideal. Someone with the time, patience, and connection he needs. We prefer experienced dog owners (especially with herding breeds) with time to engage with him. Once Murphy picks his person, he's fiercely loyal!

Story
If Pippa's unique ear-style doesn't melt your heart, her sweet personality sure will! Pippa is a 35-lb, one and a half year old low rider. We obviously don't know what she's mixed with, but she has the physique of a corgi and the coloring of a border collie, and the energy level of a playful potato. She is goofy, sweet, and smart; happy to lounge on the couch and sunbathe in the grass one minute, then a full-on play machine in the next (in short, joyful bursts). She bonds deeply with her person and would make the perfect sidekick to whomever is lucky enough to be her family. She's a little unsure of new noises and hesitant of new people at first but once she warms up, her silly, snuggly personality shines brightly. She's crate-trained and mostly potty-trained. She walks well on the leash but can't seem to make up her mind about which side to walk on! Pippa would thrive in a home with a friendly and confident resident dog buddy, a gentle human who is home most of the day, and an outdoor space (yard, patio, balcony, or nearby park) to sunbathe and stretch her short little legs. If you live in DC/MD/NoVa and are looking for a loyal shadow with laid-back energy, playful heart, and ready to be your best hype woman-fill out an application below to adopt Pippa! https://forms.gle/6Tg4DPk8zc516fAg6
