Story
Thank you for interested in adopting Taco. Please know that Taco is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, LAX, SEA, IAH, etc International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Taco was tied outside when rescued and was shy towards people. However as time passed in the foster, now she likes people and other dogs. She gets overexcited about other dogs and wants to go say hello. For people, Taco is not too friendly but doesn’t avoid them either. This is her reaction at first meeting and she soon gets better. However she barks when a man in a heavy dark cloth approaches in the foster’s office. This is just a few times and she stops soon. On leash, she is good. She may pull temporarily especially when there is a dog passing by. Also she may bark a few times at other dogs but once she meets them she doesn’t bark any more. And she doesn’t get as excited as this in an open space, unleashed, and she plays with them just fine. She can only do “sit”. The foster says Taco is “ok” at the vet, meaning she doesn’t get too scared when getting shots and being touched by the vet. +Personality: She is a bit shy and needs some time until she opens her mind. She needs some time to adjust with the a new surrounding with new people. +Dog: She is good with other dogs but gets overexcited and may charge at a new dog she meets during walks. +Children: No experience with meeting children. +Cat: She’s not reactive to cats. She is indifferent even when the cat is next to her. +Car: She is good in car. She doesn’t get carsick and behaves well. +Potty: She is both outdoor and indoor potty trained. She prefers to go outside for potty but is also very successful for using indoor training pads. +Home alone: She briefly whines but soon gets used to being alone and stops. +Guarding: She has no guarding behavior even with her dog food. +Leash: She pulls her leash during walks. The foster calls her name and stops walking which makes Taco to stop as well. +Commends: Sit.

Meet Happy💜 Happy lived neglected within a fenced area of junkyard. The person who reported Happy to us was feeding Happy for a year and when the junkyard went bankrupt, the owner left and abandoned Happy. Please be Happy’s miracle and become his forever family. 🙏🏻 * He has a Jindo face with short legs just like a corgi. He is adorable and sunny. 🥰 * He's wary at first, but once he opens up, he is sweet and asks for pets. 😊 * Not very interested in the other dog friends at ADOGS Center! He only takes his own treats and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. He does well all around! * He has a good appetite and eats very fast. He needs help with eating slowly because he might choke and cough when he eats too fast. * He does not bark when other dogs bark 👍🏻

Meet DoYou 두유🩵 (DoYou means soy milk in Korean) Right after he was born, along with his 4 siblings and his mommy, they came to Korean City Shelter. Currently, Doyou is the last one who is waiting to be adopted. He loves his pup friends and plays very gently!! His social skill is on top of top.👍🏻 When introduced to dogs he meets for the first time, he wags and sniffs gently. Doyou is curious and energetic! He's calm but also he is actually a active, adorable, and mischievous pup. At the same time, DoYou can play by himself so he can be only dog or can live with other dog siblings. When his foster family is in the living room, Doyou doesn’t stay by himself in his room but will come to sit on his foster family’s lap.❤️ *Separation anxiety: None. DoYou can sleep by himself separately. *Potty-training: He is mostly housebroken and does well on a potty pad, but sometimes poops inside!😅 *Doyou sometimes bark when hearing an unknown sound, but there is no unnecessary barking. If his foster tells him to stop, he will stop barking right away. *No separation anxiety, doesn’t make messes, no carsickness, no unnecessary barking, and has a good social skill, Doyou is a perfect pup! *Doyou can walk, bathe, let his foster to clean his ears very gently.😀 However, there is some nipping when his toenails get trimmed…🥺 *No carsickness. *So smart!! Mastered sit, wait, give a paw, spin, nose, hi five, and slow! 👍🏻(If you say slow! he will eat slowly) Possible to do “Bark low!” and “Bark loud!” *Doyou’s favorites: Ripping papers play, ball play, tug play, treats, people, walking outside, nose walk toy, doggy friends, meat treats, cooked dried pollock treats. 💙 Foster Instagram: @doyousoymilk_foster 💙 Health issues : Allergic to egg white and peanuts, has atopic dermatitis

Meet Younghee🩷 She is very affectionate and gives kisses. She's very interested in people she meets first time but if someone comes at her, she gets uncomfortable and can show her teeth out of anxiety. She can be sensitive to a person moving the hand and gets sensitive her right paw and the buttock to be petted. Better to touch these areas after she gets more acquainted. * Separation Anxiety: Almost none. She is also good at being alone for 4 hours. * Potty training: 100% outdoor potty! She makes mistakes when anxious. * She gives kisses and is affectionate. She is very interested in people, but if you try to hug or touch her, she may show her teeth to show she feels uncomfortable😭 * She is sensitive to moving hands, especially people touching her right forefoot and butt, so those areas should be petted once she is closer to you. * She loves to go for a walk! She waits by the door first if you bring out her leash!❤️ * She’s gotten used to going for walks so she says hello to well mannered dogs! She still avoids reactive or aggressive dogs. * She has hunting instincts so she chases after cats or birds. * She doesn’t really like adult men. If she meets middle-aged men during her walks, she tries to avoid them. * She doesn’t like to put on a raincoat on rainy days but is getting used to it. * You can wipe her feet with a wet tissue after a walk. However, please tap beforehand on which foot to be wiped. * She is fearful but curious! If someone approaches while taking a walk, she might growl out of fear. If you sniff her from a distance, she will slowly approach you. * Indoor activity is really low. She likes squeaky toys and playing with a ball, and can play tug as well. * She’s been barking less from outside noises. She only barks at delivery sounds when her guardian is with her. * If she trusts the person, she can tolerate getting her teeth brushed or getting her nails clipped. * She had carsickness on her first car ride but got better from the second time. * Sheds. * Can do “sit”, “wait”, “lie down” (with treats). * Likes: squeaky ball, Walks, Sweet potato, Beef jerky, new place! 💙 Foster Instagram: @adopt_young_hee

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Suki - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The word Suki in Japanese means like, a liking of, or fondness for. I'm hoping that a special someone will take a liking to me and I can have that wonderful family experience. I'm such a sweet and likeable little girl that it won't take but a NY second (not even the whole minute) before I worm my way into your heart and then forget it, it's all over, I'll be your little LOVE bug!! At around 9 months old I'm at a great age for...everything! I'm playful and active ready for any and all adventures. I love going for walks so we can do neighborhood strolls, walks to the local coffee shop (really really love these especially if I can get a puppaccino pleeeeease), even nature trail walks ( all those smells are heavenly). I'd be perfect to go camping cuz you know I don't sleeping on the ground if you don't. I'm also game for any car rides for running errands, trips to the park or just a leisurely sight seeing trip. I'm game to give it all a whirl as long as we are doing it together!! At my 22lbs I'm at my adult weight which is also a perfect size. Big enough to enjoy our said adventures but small enough to not take up much room on the couch or bed. My size will also make me great for in town living, out in the country or anywhere in between. I'm already house trained, now that's a nice bonus for my family. I'm also good with people and other dogs. Playing with my foster siblings is one of my favoritest things to do along with getting cuddles with my people. I haven't met any of those strange smelling creatures y'all call a cat yet, but with my sweet nature, if introduced properly I should be fine with them too. My shorter sleek reddish coat is low maintenance in the grooming department making me more of a wash-n-go type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! You got it, lots more time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. Ok, maybe that's my favoritest thing!!! ;) Are you needing that constant in your life? Someone to have your back no matter what? Someone to share in your adventures along with your everyday living of life? I would love to be that gal!!

Story
Hello there! My name is Haemin, and I'm an adorable 8-month-old female Welsh Corgi mix with a heart full of love. I had a bit of a rough start, but luckily, I was rescued while wandering around a factory in 2023. About Me: I might seem a bit shy at first, but that's just because I haven't met you yet. Treats are the key to my heart, and if you offer me a tasty snack and give me a little time, we'll be fast friends. I love being petted and snuggled once I get to know you, and I'm all for cozying up. Social Butterfly: I'm not just good with people but also, I get along great with other dogs too! Walks are a breeze as long as it's not a super busy road. I have a usual energy level, so after a nice stroll, I enjoy chilling out quietly. Home Sweet Home: I'm crate-trained and find comfort in having my own space. However, I do get a bit scared in cars, so I might need some extra cuddles during car rides. When it's mealtime, I'm perfectly fine with people around, but I may growl a bit if canine friends get too close. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who loves treats, walks, and quiet evenings, then I'm your girl! Come meet me, and let's start our journey together. https://youtube.com/shorts/85-LgGj8sS8?si=-8zlveKKLrEkJf12 https://youtu.be/R_YVJepcXRE?si=_GZlPOAFNR1IDv-q https://youtube.com/shorts/b9bdapZWtoE?si=uVpZJPDfxHZECvCV https://youtube.com/shorts/K86vV5LVB2Q?si=gvzEBJnug4HSr5e3 https://youtu.be/YvZWS0RX8iM?si=aciZmnOVabXw7Rvi

Story
In August of 2022, my story took a turn when I found myself in a city shelter, facing the dreaded euthanasia list. But just when hope seemed dim, a compassionate rescuer spotted me and decided rescue me! While I may appear a bit shy at first, the magic of treats can work wonders in melting my heart. I warm up quickly, especially to the gentle touch of females. That said, it doesn't mean I'm afraid of males. I haven't had the chance to meet children under 13, but my gentle nature suggests I'd likely get along just fine with them. You'll find it's a breeze to pet me, and you can easily carry me around. When it comes to other dogs, I'm a polite greeter, though I'm not always in the mood for play. I'm quite the diplomat and get along well with dogs of all sizes and ages, preferring to avoid conflicts and disputes. Stray cats catch my attention with their mysterious ways, but when my handler calls, I'm quick to follow, showing my obedient side. Birds, on the other hand, don't pique my interest. My energy level is in the moderate range, making outdoor activities a joy, and indoors, I'm very calm. I'm a pro when it comes to leash-walking, as I don't pull at all. Resources like treats, toys, and attention are meant to be shared, and I don't guard them from people or other dogs. While I'm not much of a barker, I may let out a little warning bark when confronted with really loud noises. I'm at ease in a crate during car rides, though I might experience a touch of car sickness and drool a bit. It's recommended not to feed me right before the journey. I'm adaptable when it comes to potty time, doing my business both indoors on puppy pads and outdoors. I'm a brave and loving soul on a remarkable journey, and I'm ready to be your loyal companion. With patience, treats, and a heart full of love, we can create beautiful memories together. Heath -related I recently underwent Guinal Hernia Repair surgery and am on the path to full recovery, expected to be back to my best by November. Story
Woof! Hi there, I'm an adorable 4-year-old Corgi/French Bulldog mix with the most charming brown coat. Let me tell you a little about my incredible journey: Rescue Story:I started my adventure as a stray pup found right outside the post office. The kind souls who discovered me whisked me away to a city shelter, and that's when my tail-wagging story truly began! If you're looking for a friend who's always ready to make new buddies, you've found me! I'm a total social butterfly, quick to roll over and show you my affection. I'm particularly fond of the ladies, and you can scoop me up with ease for a snuggle. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm the "Hello, how are you?" kind of pup. I get along famously with bigger dogs and am quite the peacemaker, steering clear of any puppy disputes. They call me the "Good Boy" for a reason! I've got a moderate to high energy level, which means I'm raring to go for outdoor adventures. But indoors, you'll find me as calm as a cuddly stuffed animal. During our walks, I may pull a bit due to all the excitement, but fear not! I'm an excellent listener and stop often to savor the delightful scents of the world around us. Whether it's treats, toys, or just some quality lap time, I'm not into guarding resources. Barking? Nope, not my style! I'm also a pro at crate training. When it comes to car rides, I'm still learning the ropes. You'll need to carry me in and out, but once inside, I'm the picture of well-behaved charm. For now, I'm okay with both indoor and outdoor potty, but with a regular walking routine, I'll happily switch to outdoor-only bathroom breaks. I'm as quiet as a mouse, with just one notable exception – I barked once when a particularly loud noise startled me. I prefer snuggles over barks any day! My foster mom can't stop gushing about me. She says I'm a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who loves leaning on people to show my adoration. So, if you're on the hunt for a furry companion who's as charming as they come, I'm your guy! Let's create a tail-wagging love story together, filled with cuddles, adventures, and endless affection. I'm Danna, a 2-year-old female Jindo Corgi mix. Sweet and Shy: At first, I might come across as a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. A tasty treat and a little patience are all it takes to win me over. Once I trust you, we'll be fast friends. Independent Playtime: I'm not interested in other dogs. I'm more of an independent spirit who enjoys my own playtime. Adorable Looks: People often say I'm a real cutie with my big, expressive eyes and short legs. My unique appearance is sure to melt your heart. Curious and Clever: I love exploring new scents, and I'm quite the clever pup. I pick up on things quickly, so I'll be a breeze to train.
