Story
My name is Mandu, and I'm here to share a little about myself in hopes of finding my forever family. I'm currently staying with a wonderful foster family in Toronto, but my story began with a bit of a rough patch. When I was just a young pup of about 5-6 months old, I encountered a serious leg injury, likely from a trap. It was tough, but thanks to some kind-hearted souls, I underwent surgery on August 5, 2022, which helped me get back on my paws and now I'm all set to find my forever home here in Canada or even the US! I absolutely adore humans and thrive on their love and attention. I'm super friendly and affectionate, always up for a cuddle session or a good ol' belly rub. Oh, and did I mention I'm great with kids? Yep, I've been hanging out with some kiddos under 13 years old, and I gotta say, we've formed quite the bond. I'm patient, gentle, and just love spending time with them. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm a social butterfly. I approach them with a playful attitude, always ready for a good romp around the yard. But if things get a little too rowdy, I know how to stand my ground and keep myself and my family safe. I'm a pro at walking on a leash, especially in quieter areas, though loud noises can startle me a bit. But don't worry, I'm not one to bark up a storm. So, what do you say? Are you the one I've been waiting for? If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures, then let's make it official! Story
# 🐾 Hi, I'm Charles! 🐾 Hello future family! My name is Charles, and I'm a 11-month-old Corgi mix with a heart as big as my smile and a beautiful brown coat. I'm a fun-sized buddy at 10 kg, perfect for all kinds of adventures and cuddles. ## My Rescue Story 🏠 I'm a little shy when meeting strangers and might bark when they try to approach me. I need some time and patience to get to know you, but once I'm comfortable, I have no problem letting you pet me. I get along well with other dogs and love to play with them, no matter their age or size. My Personality 🐶 I'm a gentle soul who prefers peace over confrontation. I'm curious about cats but more interested in my human companions. I love being outdoors and exploring, but I'm happiest when I can relax quietly by your side after a day of fun.I love toys and bones to chew! My Manners 🍽️ I'm not one to guard my food – I'm all about sharing the love. I do my business outside and bark if I hear any sounds from outside. I'm working on crate training and being less reactive when left alone. My Dream Home 🏡 I'm looking for a family that loves to play and cuddle as much as I do. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate, and playful furry friend, I'm the one for you!

Story
🐾 Hi there! I’m Igil, a 2-year-old Jindo/Corgi mix, looking for my forever home. 🏡 I had a tough start, abandoned in a rural farm with my family. Luckily, a kind person rescued me, my five siblings, and our mom. 🌸 At first, I might be a little shy. I need some time to get used to new surroundings and to process everything. I don’t mind pets from strangers, but I might freeze up a bit. You can carry me around, but please be gentle at first. Once I warm up, I’ll wag my tail and seek your attention with a cute smile! 😊 🐶 I’m more comfortable around dogs my size. Big dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me. Introductions should be slow and in a neutral area because I can be protective of my space and food. I might growl at first, but once I feel safe, I’m ready to play! 💤 My energy levels are low to moderate. I enjoy playing for a few minutes, then I need some time to rest and relax. I’m perfectly house-trained and don’t bark much. If I get really lonely and stuck in a room for too long, I might howl a bit like a wolf. 🚶‍♂️ Walks can make me anxious, so I might pull on the leash. I’m working on building my confidence and getting used to outdoor sounds. I’m a super gentle and calm boy who needs a family to show me the world and help me gain confidence. Once you see my cute little face, you’ll fall in love with me instantly! 💕 Hope to meet you soon! 🐾

Story
Ogil is in a Toronto foster home. Ogil is a little shy at first but warms up quickly, revealing her true personality with a bit of time. She can be easily lifted and carried with no problem. Once she feels comfortable, she will happily show her belly for attention. When it comes to other dogs, Ogil is generally not too interested. However, if she finds a dog with a similar energy level, she will engage in play. Otherwise, she prefers focusing on people over other dogs. During walks, she is more attentive to her handler than to stray cats or small animals. Ogil has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and is very calm indoors. On the leash, she may pull a bit due to her excitement to go outside, but she calms down within a few minutes. She does not exhibit resource guarding towards people or other dogs and is not a barker. Ogil is outdoor potty trained. Ogil would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and love. If you think she is the ONE, please contact our team.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Pumpkin from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 3 year old  male Corgi - Spitz mix.  I weigh approximately 15 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
