Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MIA Background: Mia was rescued by a friend in California after her previous owner abandoned her and her sister at a groomer. She is a 3-year-old Corgi-Dachshund female. Mia is a smart, protective, loving, and independent dog. It may take her a few days to trust new people, but treats can help with that. Once she gets comfortable around someone, she loves belly rubs, playing with her toys, chewing on her split Elk antler, and running around the yard. She has a great personality and is incredibly loyal to her favorite human. She doesn't need constant attention and is happy to sit and chew her antler while her person works. However, when it's time for some love, she'll drop the antler and enjoy some quality time with her human. Mia is a "Dorgi," which is a mix of Corgi and Dachshund, and she needs a home without cats or other dogs. She is very protective of her home and will make a great watchdog. She would be a perfect fit for a single woman who wants a loyal dog that will bond strongly with her.  What Mia Needs: Mia needs a home without children or small animals, as she prefers to be the only pet. She loves attention and needs someone who can give her lots of love and care. She also needs a fenced yard for potty breaks and walks. It's important to keep her on a healthy, canine-specific diet to ensure she remains healthy for her entire life. We will provide in-depth education on how to care for her. Most importantly, Mia needs a loving person who is committed to keeping her forever and will never abandon her again. How Can You Meet Mia? Please use this link to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and get in touch with you to answer your questions and see if you are a match for Mia. Mia has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt Mia she has a $550.00 adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.      https ://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 9:43 pm

Story
Hello! My name is Daisy and like the flower I need some time to bloom and blossom. I love and am very loyal to my people once I can trust them, but I have a hard time with strangers. I am guessed to be a cattle dog/corgi mix and I would benefit from a home with cattle dog/herding breed experience as I follow those breed characteristics very closely. I would also benefit from a quiet home that doesn't have a lot of people coming and going. When I have chosen my person(s) I love being brushed, going out on walks, running/zooming around fenced areas, and I especially love training sessions. I have a highly intelligent brain and really need to use it as much as possible to be fulfilled. I would do best as the only dog in the home. I have done well with cats in the home before, and was even described as loving them! If you are looking for an incredibly loyal and intelligent dog to train and build an unbreakable bond with, while also being freaking adorable and goofy as can be, please call or stop by the NOAH Center if you think you could be a good fit. I have been in more than one home and I am really eager to never come back to the shelter! Daisy would do best in a home without kids or other dogs, she is also on a weight loss diet. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Nika! She is a 1-year-old, 43lb Corgi/Husky mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Nika is a very fun girl who gets along well with everyone she meets! She plays well with others and would love an additional dog in the home as a playmate or be fine as an only dog with continued socialization and play dates. She is very happy, bouncy, and sweet. She walks well on leash and would love a home that takes her on daily walks, adventures, and lets her experience as much of the world as possible as she loves to explore. She is very smart and treat motivated, which will be great for training purposes. Nika loves to cuddle and be right up next to you, so be prepared for lots of love! Nika is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Patrick is low to the ground, but high on the scale of cute! This adorable 1-year-old Corgi mix is eager to go home with his new family. And he's hoping today is the day! Patrick is on the shyer side and looking for experienced adopters who can help him grow in confidence and blossom into the dog he dreams of being. He will need plenty of positive experiences and socialization, at the pace he requests. Once he's comfortable, Patrick likes going for neighborhood strolls, lounging in the sun, and getting snuggles and pets from his people. Patrick does well with other dogs, but we don't know if he's ever met cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Patrick is looking for an adult only home in a quiet area. He is not a fit for an apartment or condo and would love a fenced backyard. If you're ready to add this short stack to your home, send in an adoption application today!#dogcompatible

Story
Introducing Hattu, the adorable farm pup with a heart of gold, rescued from a life tied to a chain and now ready to find his forever home through international adoption! At first, Hattu might seem a tad shy, but with just a bit of patience and space, he blossoms into your ultimate sidekick within 3-7 days. Despite his initial timidity, Hattu melts hearts by happily allowing strangers to shower him with pets and even carry him around like a furry prince! This sweet boy gets along swimmingly with other dogs, preferring to coexist rather than initiate play. Even when faced with curious stray cats, Hattu's gentle nature shines through as he calmly follows his handler without a hint of mischief. With a moderate energy level, Hattu enjoys outdoor walks but transforms into a laid-back cuddle bug indoors. Sure, he might pull on the leash out of sheer excitement, but he quickly heed his handler's guidance with unwavering obedience. Resource guarding? Not in Hattu's vocabulary! This lovable pup happily shares his toys and treats with everyone, furry friends included. And when nature calls or his tummy rumbles, a polite bark signals his needs, quickly quieting down when his handler says "no." Travelling in the car? No problem for Hattu! He's a pro in his crate, finding comfort and security on the go. While he's flexible with indoor and outdoor potty routines for now, Hattu's eager to settle into a consistent outdoor routine once his walking schedule is set. But here's the real secret to Hattu's heart—cozy blankets and, of course, FOOD! If you're ready to be his best friend and share in all his adorable antics, Hattu is waiting with open paws to join your family and fill your life with love and laughter. Story
My name is Mandu, and I'm here to share a little about myself in hopes of finding my forever family. I'm currently staying with a wonderful foster family in Toronto, but my story began with a bit of a rough patch. When I was just a young pup of about 5-6 months old, I encountered a serious leg injury, likely from a trap. It was tough, but thanks to some kind-hearted souls, I underwent surgery on August 5, 2022, which helped me get back on my paws and now I'm all set to find my forever home here in Canada or even the US! I absolutely adore humans and thrive on their love and attention. I'm super friendly and affectionate, always up for a cuddle session or a good ol' belly rub. Oh, and did I mention I'm great with kids? Yep, I've been hanging out with some kiddos under 13 years old, and I gotta say, we've formed quite the bond. I'm patient, gentle, and just love spending time with them. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm a social butterfly. I approach them with a playful attitude, always ready for a good romp around the yard. But if things get a little too rowdy, I know how to stand my ground and keep myself and my family safe. I'm a pro at walking on a leash, especially in quieter areas, though loud noises can startle me a bit. But don't worry, I'm not one to bark up a storm. So, what do you say? Are you the one I've been waiting for? If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures, then let's make it official! Story
This social butterfly goes by the name of Gucci, and her specialty is greeting strangers with a wagging tail and the biggest, brightest smile you've ever seen. However, she's a bit wary around young kids who might startle her with sudden touches or loud noises. When it comes to doggy friends, Gucci is a canine ambassador, confidently saying hello to dogs of all sizes and ages. She might feel a twinge of jealousy because, truth be told, she adores people more than anything! Yet, she's a lover, not a fighter, and enjoys grooming her doggy friends' faces while patiently waiting for her handler's attention. Cats? They catch her curious eye, but chasing them isn't her style. She's quite obedient when her handler says, "Let's go," trotting along without a fuss. With a moderate to high energy level, Gucci thrives on outdoor activities. Once she's had her fill of fun, she's the picture of calm indoors—ready to cuddle up with her special someone. While she can't contain her excitement and might pull on the leash, Gucci listens well to her handler's cues. In quieter settings, she's a pro leash-walker, but busy streets can startle her with loud noises, leading to the occasional bolt attempt. Resource guarding isn't her thing with people, though she might politely growl if other dogs invade her personal space. She's a star in a crate and turns into a zen master during car rides—especially when snug in her cozy crate, though a little boost might be needed for taller vehicles! If you're seeking an affectionate, cuddly, and loving companion,Gucci is waiting eagerly to be your perfect match. Contact our team NOW to make her dreams of a forever home come true!
