If you would like to apply to take Baby home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Bailey and Baby are 2 super sweet Dachshund and possibly Chihuahua mixes. They are bonded girls who are in need of a loving home together. They came to the rescue together, and we think they are either mother and daughter or maybe even sisters. Bailey is approximately 2 years old, and Baby might be a little younger, around 18 months old. They are such happy, loving little dogs who would love a comfy spot on your lap and in your bed. Baby and Bailey are lower energy dogs, but they do like to run and play a bit outside on a nice day. These babies love to cuddle, go on walks, and spend time with their people. Both girls are great with other dogs and are fine with cats. They are well-behaved and crate- trained as well. Bailey and Baby can't wait to find their forever home, so if you are looking for a couple of lovebugs, these girls are for you

Story
This handsome pup is Biff! He’s an adult low rider that lives to hang with his people! Biff is a designer mix breed pup. We think there’s a splash of Dachshund, a pinch of Hound, dash of Lab, a touch of Pittie, and a sprinkling of Mr Nice Pup.  Biff is excited for life and happy to be here. He’s a true joy to be around.  Biff knows his manners and would appreciate a confident owner willing to continue to help guide him. When first meeting people, Biff can be a little nervous but after a proper introduction, he makes fast friends. He’d love to hang out at breweries, go on hikes, or just enjoys leisurely stroll with his new family. Biff has spent some time with a professional trainer and did very well there! He learned the basics and his trainer will be happy to review everything Biff learned with his new family.
Biff would be a great addition to a home that already has a calm and confident dog.  He’s great with kids and currently had 2 legged family members that are between the ages of 8 & 21. If you'd like to make this handsome pup part of your family, please let us know here: dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form. We'll forward the app to his foster who will reach out to answer any questions, share pictures, and talk all things Biff. ================================================= If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
Meet Dewie! Dewie is a sweet, loving energetic dog that has a bit more excitement than we can handle in an apartment. He needs a yard! Dewie has a serious issue with chewing and had to have a surgery about 2 months ago to remove a phone charger and blanket. He is fully recovered. Vet recommended we keep him in a muzzle but it is making him depressed and I can’t bare to see him like that. If he can reach it, he WILL chew it. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve love. Dewie is 5 months old and we paid $2000 for him and $3000 for his surgery. The $1200 rehoming fee is non negotiable. He had his rabies shot and is up to date on other vaccines.

Story
My name is Sweet Pea and I am truly a sweet little pea!  My story began about 5-6 years ago when I came to live with a family who had way too many dogs.  They could not afford to spay and neuter and so a lot of us had puppies over and over.  Now I am with Critter Cavalry Rescue  and they promised me a better family life ahead.  I am a Dachshund/Terrier mix and I weigh 22 lbs and could probably walk a few pounds off this Spring and Summer with an active and fun person that would adopt me.  I was terrified beyond words when I first moved from my overcrowded home to this nice new foster house.  But soon I have realized I am safe and well fed and that these people are very stable and will get me to the vet when I need to go.  I am housebroken, ride just fine in a car and I am going to love to sit on your lap and make you feel loved and cherished by ME!  I do not like to walk on a leash.  I can learn if you are patient to teach me but I think I initially need to go to a home with a fenced yard and then learn how to walk nicely there in the backyard.  It is not biggie but right now it kind of isn’t a fav thing to do.  Other than the leash, I am pretty perfect!  I am healthy and I love to give kisses and adoring looks to my fav humans.  If you want to invite me to come live with you please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com   I am ready to pack my bags! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 5, 2024, 3:15 pm
