We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available.   Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hello everyone my name is Ghee...My foster parents named me this because I was a chubby little pup.  I am now a full grown pup who will be 2 yrs old come July (my DOB 7/29/2023).  I am your still a puppy at heart with lots of energy and spunk.  I get along great with other dogs and it would be best if my family already had another dog for me to grow up with.  I am not sure about cats and just like to bark at them.  (They never answer me back)  I would do best in a home with mature kids at least 7+ years and older.  My foster family did a DNA test on me so my breeds are correct and I have some of the best traits from both of them.  I am  lively, energetic, and playful and enjoying interactive playtime.  My foster mom says I  love to cuddle and seek attention but can be independent and sometimes to smart for my own good. (I am still in my puppy phase)  I am housetrained with a doggie door and get fed in my crate because I don't know boundaries yet and just like to sample all my foster brother and sister's food. I am spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.  I am also on flea and hw preventative. Ghee's adoption fee is $500 -  Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application. We are all volunteers and short on time, we will contact you back only if we have more questions or your application is approved and you will be invited to meet the dog. owner surrendered to a shelter no reason given they were coming back for both dogs and never came. so here she is! doxie mix nice and calm, does love her sister but can be separated. great with other dogs. Just pulled from the shelter will see if pad trained or not. wants to be a lap dog. very sweet girlie. easy to handle and work with. fostered in bradenton . needs rabies and spay, has had puppy shots.

this is a dog not to be taken lightly. the red on the right. will get better pix but she is a pistol!! Highly active, typical doxie digger, a little barky. lap dog. would be a great performance dog, you can tell she is a thinker!!!!! not afraid of anything, a climber and likes the water. Not a dog for a senior person, will be a great dog for active family and will need training, a job or dog sports!! fostered in Bradenton. Not dependent on her sister at all. Independent lil gal about 8 pounds
