We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete. When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. I am now a full grown pup who will be 2 yrs old come July (my DOB 7/29/2023). I am your still a puppy at heart with lots of energy and spunk. I get along great with other dogs and it would be best if my family already had another dog for me to grow up with. I am not sure about cats and just like to bark at them. (They never answer me back) I would do best in a home with mature kids at least 7+ years and older. My foster family did a DNA test on me so my breeds are correct and I have some of the best traits from both of them. I am lively, energetic, and playful and enjoying interactive playtime. My foster mom says I love to cuddle and seek attention but can be independent and sometimes to smart for my own good. (I am still in my puppy phase) I am housetrained with a doggie door and get fed in my crate because I don't know boundaries yet and just like to sample all my foster brother and sister's food. I am spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. I am also on flea and hw preventative. Hi! I’m Rosie, and I am a Dachshund. I weigh about 13lbs right now, but I am still losing weight. When my foster mom got me, I was a little chunky. My teeth were pulled, but I eat just fine. I, still try to get food any chance I get. My previous family used to give me food when they were eating, so I’m learning my manners and trying hard not to beg. They also thought I was only six years old but when the people at Pick Me! checked into my records, they found out that I was 11! My foster mom sent this message: “She’s so happy and loves to give kisses. She understands her name, many words, and cues. She learns the daily routine quickly. Completely potty trained. Healthy and energetic, with a shiny coat. Gets along with other dogs and a perfect companion dog for someone who wants a lovable little friend.“ I wake her up in the morning, and I love to go for a walks, and run around in the yard. When she sits down, I’m a Velcro dog. I love to sit right next to her at night while she’s watching TV, and I follow her around the house. She also said that I am one of the best dogs she’s ever met, so easy and that whoever gets me will be a very lucky human. I am current on all of my vaccines, my heartworm test and preventative, since I don’t have any more teeth, I will never need a dental again. 😊 I come with an adoption kit from PetSmart that will give you coupons for all the stuff you want to spoil me with. Neglected, uncared for, bred many times and disposed of. That’s the life they’ve endured… until now. Now, they have a chance to be loved, cared for and cherished. These girls really cling to each other and we are hoping the power of social media can help us keep them together in their forever home!
