We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete. When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. I am now a full grown pup who will be 2 yrs old come July (my DOB 7/29/2023). I am your still a puppy at heart with lots of energy and spunk. I get along great with other dogs and it would be best if my family already had another dog for me to grow up with. I am not sure about cats and just like to bark at them. (They never answer me back) I would do best in a home with mature kids at least 7+ years and older. My foster family did a DNA test on me so my breeds are correct and I have some of the best traits from both of them. I am lively, energetic, and playful and enjoying interactive playtime. My foster mom says I love to cuddle and seek attention but can be independent and sometimes to smart for my own good. (I am still in my puppy phase) I am housetrained with a doggie door and get fed in my crate because I don't know boundaries yet and just like to sample all my foster brother and sister's food. I am spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. I am also on flea and hw preventative. I’m playful, curious, and full of energy—but I’m also super loving and just want to be close to my people 💛 When I first got to my foster home, I was a little scared and unsure… but it didn’t take long for my true self to shine! Now I’m a confident, spunky little guy who loves playing fetch, keeping an eye on the neighborhood from the window, and then curling up right next to you (preferably at your feet) for some cuddles 🥹 I’m still learning the basics, but I’m really smart and picking things up fast! I already know how to play fetch, use potty pads, and even respond to “stand.” I’m still working on things like leash training and learning not to chew everything in sight (I’m just a puppy, okay? 😅). I get along with big dogs, small dogs, and kids, and I’d love a home where I have someone to play with and keep me active. I have a lot of energy to burn, but when I’m done, I just want to snuggle up and be loved. Louie is a 3 year old, 14 pound Dachshund mix that was in a hoarding situation with 30 other dogs. A rescue came and took 15 dogs, leaving the others there, so animal came and confiscated the others. It has taken Louie a while to feel safe and comfortable and now he will not leave his foster mom's side. He would be happiest to be in his foster mom's lap 24/7. He has gotten along wonderfully with all of the dogs, the litter of pups, and the chickens in his foster home. Louie has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
