Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.org$250 adoption feeMeet Farrah. She’s an adorable 1-1.5 year old girl, approximately 11.5lbs. Possibly a Dachshund/Spaniel/Chihuahua mix. She is house and crate trained. Farrah loves walks. She is good with other dogs & cats. When she came into rescue she was very, very scared and very pregnant.  She was a fantastic mother to 3 healthy puppies that have found homes. She also adopted an orphan puppy and raised her as part of her litter.  She has gained trust, but will need a quiet home with a patient adopter. She will need some time to acclimate to new people and new environments. She prefers women over men & will need a home without young children. All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.July 17, 2024, 9:15 pm

Story
Willow Mina is a mature, well mannered 9lb female dachshund mix who is ready to find a loving home and offer constant companionionship. At 8.5 years young, this little lady knows what she likes and that includes lots of snuggles and being with her people at all times. Her precious face and floppy ears are impossible to resist, especially when she gazes up at you with her big, pleading brown eyes.  Although it might take a minute for her to warm up and interact with new people, she gets along with everyone from young children to older adults and everything in between. In terms of her needs, she's very low key and prefers the easy life and non-physical activities like sitting at your side or staring at you adoringly. Although her people are very important to her and she loves spending time with them, she is ok being left alone. In her foster home, she has not exhibited any excessive barking or destructiveness which means she would do well in many different home environments, including those with other dogs big or small. Willow Mina is currently potty training and although she's nearly there, she is still learning and having some accidents. But with a consistent routine, love and more training, her foster mom is confident she will graduate and be accident-free very soon.     Willow Mina deserves to live out her golden years being adored. In return, you will be the lucky recipient of lots of snuggles and always be the center of this sweet girl's world.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Dawnie: Your Pocket-Sized Bundle of Joy! Are you ready to add a little sunshine to your life? Meet Dawnie, the pint-sized beagle with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging!  At just two years young and under 30 pounds, Dawnie is the perfect petite companion for all your adventures but will only settle to be a solo dog. She has the most beautiful markings and is considered a blue tick beagle. Dawnie may be medium-low energy, but don't let that fool you—she's a sniffing and cuddling aficionado! Whether she's exploring the great outdoors or snuggled up next to you on the couch, she's really just looking for love.  This little lady is smart as a whip and eager to please. She's already mastered potty training and crate sleeping like a pro. While she's working on her excitement when meeting new people (watch out for those enthusiastic jumps!), her intelligence and willingness to learn make her a star student in training.  And Dawnie's charm doesn't stop there—she's also a social butterfly who gets along famously with all humans that come into her path.  At her previous foster family, she got along just fine with their resident cat and young kids. She has proven to not be a fan of other dogs and would prefer to be your one and only.  She enjoys taking walks, going outside for a quick exploration in the fenced backyard and will jump up in your arms while you are trying to pick her up. She truly enjoys playing with toys with or without you because she can throw them up in the air and entertain herself.     She would love to meet a family soon that will want to adopt her and take her home with them.  If you would like to meet her, please submit and adoption application for her today!
