Tigger is a 12 week, 8 pound bundle of cuteness. She is expected to be a smaller sized dog when fully grown. She was surrendered to the pound as a puppy because she had too much energy so we do not know her parents or backstory so we do not know her exact breed or size. Tigger is a playful little puppy that loves toys and romping in the yard with the other dogs in her home. She is very vocal and would not do well in an apartment setting. She will do best with an active family who can keep her entertained. Potty training and crate training are a work in progress, as to be expected at this age. Like all puppies, she will benefit from ongoing training. Tigger’s adoption fee is $300.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, spay, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. Meet Oscar 🐾 Oscar is a one-of-a-kind little guy who is part Dachshund, part Chihuahua part Pittie, part mystery, and 100% lovable! With his long body and short little legs, he’s basically a hot dog with a Pittie smile. 😂❤️ Oscar is super affectionate, playful, and cuddly. At just barely a year old he has plenty of energy and loves to play, but when playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up with his favorite person. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and sleeps like a champ in his crate. 💤 He’s mostly potty trained and is learning more every day. He’s also apparently pursuing a career in interior design—he loves rearranging the dog beds and toys to create what he believes is the perfect layout. 😂 Oscar does have a mischievous side. He LOVES food and may occasionally jump on tables or go looking for snacks. In fact, this little genius has figured out how to open Tupperware! We believe some of this comes from his history of food insecurity, so he’s still learning that he doesn’t have to worry about where his next meal is coming from. ❤️ Oscar is sweet, silly, energetic, affectionate, and just the right amount of naughty. He’s looking for a family who will give him patience, structure, cuddles, playtime, and most importantly, the chance to finally feel safe and loved. He would much rather be outside running, hopping and exploring than confined to the indoors. Although his biggest priority is to be around other dogs big or small. Simeon is cautious but gentle around small children. He is working on basic commands and potty training. Simeon is a brave soul with a gentle demeanor towards his people, such a cutie with a curly cue tail. Rusty Wallace is a 4 year old dauchshund mix. Rusty is house trained, cat and dog friendly, and enjoys human companions of all ages. If in a home with children, they need to be older children that understand Rusty's needs noted below. He loves car rides. He sleeps in bed with his human but will also sleep in a kennel. He loves to burrow so blankets are a must! Rusty came back into rescue severally overweight. You can see that in his before and after photo in his bio. He worked hard and is now back to a healthy weight and just needs to maintain. Rusty requires a home with no steps or minimal steps. He is currently in a home that has mostly single steps and where there are two steps, he has a ramp. He had to have spinal surgery so limited steps are a must. Steps are also needed for him to get on and off the couch and bed. Rusty has seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. He is taking meds three times a day to prevent them. The meds do cause him to be extremely needy. He is very vocal until his needs are met. Rusty would not be a good fit for an apartment. He is good with dogs his size or smaller.
