Story
Meet Lloyd! Lloyd is a handsome, smart, and friendly Chiweenie! With his long noodle body and fun Chihuahua energy Lloyd is the life of the party! Lloyd is good with dogs, would pair better with older children, and hasn't experienced any cats yet. He is crate trained and working on potty training, but doing well! Lloyd was found on the street full of fleas with his partner in crime Harry, was pretty much just running the streets, owners readily gave him up when asked who he belonged to. Lloyd is a super energetic dog who's ready to run right into your life and be your new best friend! Some basic information about Lloyd; he is 1-year(s) old, male, Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix, 8-years old, and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
In the heart of bustling San Antonio, where the streets echoed with the sounds of city life, there lived two inseparable companions named Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. They were a unique pair of dachshund/terrier mixes, each with their distinctive personalities and a bond that could weather any storm. Judas Priest, with his soulful brown eyes and a heart as warm as the Texan sun, was the elder of the two. His silky coat shimmered like polished bicolored metal :), and his gentle disposition made him the perfect match for his spirited partner. Iron Maiden, on the other hand, was a whirlwind of energy with a coat as dark as midnight. Her playful nature and boundless enthusiasm for life were contagious. Together, they were a yin and yang, perfectly complementing each other in every way. Their story began on the mean streets of San Antonio, where they faced the harsh realities of life as strays. Despite the odds, they had each other, and their unwavering love and support kept them going through thick and thin. One fateful day, a kind-hearted passerby noticed the inseparable duo, huddled together for warmth beneath a tattered cardboard box. Touched by their devotion and the spark of hope in their eyes, the Good Samaritan decided to rescue them from the streets. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden soon found themselves in a loving foster home, where they flourished. They were house trained, well-behaved, and showered their foster family with affection. However, it was clear that their bond was unbreakable, and they simply couldn't bear to be apart. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden bring boundless joy and endless laughter to their foster home, proving that love, loyalty, and the unbreakable bond between two souls could overcome even the toughest of beginnings. They are now ready for YOUR HOME!!! Adopt these two and you will seal the deal for them for the rest of their lives :) Local adoption fee is $400 (together in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (together and includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Hi!  I'm Barron!    They say I'm 3 yrs, 23 lbs.  ~ a Dachshund / Vizla / Hound Mix    I'm a moderate energy kind of guy, but I l ove to play, run and go for walks.    I am great in the car and I love car rides, so I'm ready to hit the road with you !!   I walk well on leash and maybe you can take me on hikes too!   Please do a slow introduction to other dogs, but I live with many dogs.  It's always good to get to know each other.   AND  NO CATS.     My foster mom says I'm so soft and a good boy most of the time.   It would be great if my new home had a fenced yard for me so I can run, and sunbath, but I would do well without a fence, so a fence is not required.   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Barron’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. This pup is in a foster home in TX. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Bruno - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looky looky, we have puppy cuteness overload!! And these puppies have almost all the boxes checked Sweet and Affectionate - check and check Huggable and Kissable - double check on these Playful and Adventurous - checks on these too, for sure Good with other dogs - check Keeps a smile on your face - Oh for sure a check on this one! A family of his own - no check :( Bruno has so many boxes checked already. He is a happy bouncy boy that is eager to learn the ways of this big ole world and with your help he will ROCK it!! At around 5 months he is playful, ready for adventures and having a grand ole time exploring...everywhere! He is your typical happy pup that will need daily exercise and playtime but with that in he should make a great family member for a home in town, out in the country or anywhere in between. At his current weight of about 12ish lbs he should come in around the top end of the small category of 25ish lbs. Bruno will be an awesome size that is not to small to enjoy all your outdoor activities but not too big that he will take up the whole couch. With his short sleek coat Bruno will be low maintenance in the grooming department, a wash-n-go type of fella. Which you know what that means don't you? More time for the both of you in the 'spoil him rotten' department!! Bruno has all these boxes checked except the one that will make his and your lives complete...a family of his very own. Please fill out an adoption application to get him that last box checked!! These brothers include - Bruno, Winston, Cooper and Ocho
