"A THREE HOUR TOUR!!" This was the plan... and we thought it was a good one!! I mean we went through a tour company and EVERYTHING!!! However, here we are!! The fun and FABULOUS crew, we were literally living under the sidewalk outside an elementary school!! We would come out and eat from the LUNCH LADY :) and greet the kids! But they didn't want us to stay there, too close to a road AND we are PUPPIES!! So we are with our wonderful foster mums (Moonpie waited for the nice rescue teacher to get out of work before she showed her face!!) and we are READY for ACTION!! ***CUT**** We are somewhat nervous when we first meet you, however, our cute and ADVENTUROUS side comes out pretty quickly! We would each do best with another dog to play with and cuddle with :) ADOPT ONE OF US SOON!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

5-year-old spayed female Dachshund/Blue Heeler mix (born Oct 2019). Adopted at 6 months old. She is very intelligent, loyal, affectionate in a familiar environment, and enjoys puzzle toys, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. She bonds closely with her person and thrives with structure and predictability. She is dog-reactive and needs to be the only pet. She is also sensitive to loud noise, sudden movement, and rough handling, so an adult-only home is strongly preferred. She does best in a calm, low-traffic environment with an experienced owner comfortable managing an anxious dog. Medical: blind in one eye from early cataracts (evaluated by veterinary ophthalmologist; cosmetic and non-painful). History of urinary crystals/UTIs, currently stable. Ideal home: adult-only, no other pets, quiet environment, experienced owner.

Rusty Wallace is a 4 year old dauchshund mix. Rusty is house trained, cat and dog friendly, and enjoys human companions of all ages. If in a home with children, they need to be older children that understand Rusty's needs noted below. He loves car rides. He sleeps in bed with his human but will also sleep in a kennel. He loves to burrow so blankets are a must! Rusty came back into rescue severally overweight. You can see that in his before and after photo in his bio. He worked hard and is now back to a healthy weight and just needs to maintain. Rusty requires a home with no steps or minimal steps. He is currently in a home that has mostly single steps and where there are two steps, he has a ramp. He had to have spinal surgery so limited steps are a must. Steps are also needed for him to get on and off the couch and bed. Rusty has seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. He is taking meds three times a day to prevent them. The meds do cause him to be extremely needy. He is very vocal until his needs are met. Rusty would not be a good fit for an apartment. Rusty Wallace’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
