She's currently with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can travel to NJ if we find her a foster or adopter. For approved adopters, we offer a foster-to adopt trial- giving you and Eden a chance to make sure it's the perfect match before making it official. Meet Eden- the absolute cutest little wiggle butt you'll ever meet! At just 3 years old this 37lb Dachshund/Heeler mix (with an irresistibly corgi-esque wiggle) is the perfect size for cuddles and fun. Eden dog and kid friendly, making her an ideal buddy for families and fellow pups alike. Eden's playful spirit and gentle nature shine every day. She has such a sweet personality. Eden is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She just started her heartworm treatment and is available to come to NJ once completed in March. If we have a foster or adopter who would like to take her sooner, we can continue her treatment in NJ which will entail her taking to our vet for treatment and keeping her calm throughout her treatment. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. She is with our partner rescue in Louisiana and is heading to a NJ foster home on 1/10/26. At just 7 months and 12 pounds, Winnie is the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-ready sweetness. This adorable dachshund mix lights up every room she walks into and hasn't met a person (or dog!) she doesn' adore. Winnie loves playing with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in a home with a playful companion or an active family ready to include her in the fun. She's doing great with her housetraining and is learning to walk politely on a leash- just needs a little more practice to perfect her skills. She is still a puppy and full of curiosity and joy. Mickey is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Mickey is also known as 'lover boy!' He loves pets and attention and snuggling. He is great with other dogs and loves to play. He is housebroken but might mark some at first. She does like to eat. LOL. She is a good girl, we are working on her skin, as she seems to have skin allergies, whether it was from fleas or environment. Older calm girl, but still has some spunk. loves to go outside, loves treats and chew toys, may be a little hard of hearing, but can hear. Good girl and low maintenance. We scooped up Miss Peaches out of our local shelter and she wants nothing more than to attach herself to you for snuggles. Just 3 years old and 24 lb. she does well with other dogs, is housetrained, spayed and up to date with vaccs. Peaches needs a family where someone is home most of the day. She loves her foster mom most but does perfectly fine with the foster dad and older children in the home. She's a devoted little girl who deserves lots of attention, playing ball outdoors and exercising in the yard. A fenced yard is a must for her. Peaches will make a great addition to a loving home.
