This 3-year-old doxy/poodle mix may be small in size, but he’s got a heart that’s ready to grow big for the right person. Buddy came to us after being picked up by Animal Control, where he was living alongside a couple of other dogs (who are also looking for homes). While we don’t know everything about his past, it’s clear he’s been through a lot—and he’s still holding onto hope. Buddy can be a little cautious and timid when first meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once he feels safe, he becomes playful, affectionate, and incredibly endearing. He’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his person and make you feel like the center of his world. At just 16 pounds, Buddy is the perfect size for cuddling on the couch, joining you for walks, or simply being your quiet little shadow around the house. What Buddy needs most is someone willing to go slow, let him build trust, and show him what love really feels like. Winnie is a 7 year old dachshund born on August 14. She is a little shy until she gets to know you, but warms up quickly. She gets along well with other dogs. She does not like young children. She wants to be the spoiled baby! Winnie loves to sit on your lap and go for car rides. Her favorite treat is peanut butter. She is a boisterous girl who thrives on love and attention.
