Story
Meet Pretzel, a uniquely handsome dachshund mix with personality, charm, and a touch of mischief! At 3 years old and 18 pounds, he’s a fun-sized companion with a big heart. He’s sweet, friendly, and enjoys meeting new people, cuddling on the couch, and joining in on playtime. His goofy nature makes him a joy to have around.Pretzel is also a clever little escape artist who enjoys digging, so he’ll need a secure yard and supervision during outdoor time. He does well in our shelter environment and thrives when he has attention, enrichment, and routine.Pretzel was previously returned due to behavioral challenges, so he’s looking for an adult-only home with an experienced owner who can provide structure, training, and consistency. Story
Pinky is a 2-year-old dachshund mix with the cutest combination of spots, floppy ears, and short little legs. While we’re not sure what she’s mixed with, whatever it is gave her a slightly bigger build than a typical dachshund—she weighs about 28 pounds and is the perfect small-to-medium size. Pinky is an easygoing, low-key girl who is just as happy lounging on a dog bed as she is soaking up the sun outside. She has a calm, content personality and doesn’t require constant activity to be satisfied. She does well with dogs of all sizes and would fit nicely into a home with other respectful canine companions. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is generally very well-mannered. Pinky is fearful of small children, so she will need a home without young kids where she can feel safe and comfortable. Pinky is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a relaxed home that will appreciate her quiet nature and give her the stability she deserves. Story
Meet Milo At just five months old and 12 pounds, Milo is the perfect little pocket-sized sidekick with a heart much bigger than his tiny frame. This dachshund mix is what we lovingly call a “Velcro boy” because wherever you go, he goes. Kitchen? He’s supervising. Couch? He’s curled up beside you. Car ride? He’s already mentally packed his snacks.   Milo is incredibly loving and thrives on being close to his people. After a fun play session, he’ll happily melt into your lap like he’s been yours forever. But don’t let his snuggly nature fool you. This little guy can wrestle with the best of them. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and absolutely loves a good tumble, chase, and playful romp.   Curious, friendly, and eager to explore the world, Milo is soaking up new experiences like the bright young pup he is. He rides great in the car, is doing well with his leash skills, and is at the perfect age for continued training and socialization. With guidance and love, he’s going to grow into an exceptional lifelong companion.   If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who will love you fiercely, play hard, and snuggle even harder, Milo might just be your perfect match.   Apply to adopt Milo here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic ##2648221##

Story
I got Nismo when he was just a few weeks old in 2013. He is almost 13 years old now. He has travelled all over the country with me. He LOVES car rides. He is very smart and is so loving. He will get incredibly attached to you and follow you every step you take. While he does get a long with other pets (he has lived with 3 other dogs and multiple cats over the years, he is more fond of cats) he has primarily been a single pet and tends to stay to himself. While hes very smart, hes also quite stubborn as most dachshunds tend to be. The perfect home for him would be one where his new owner can give him the attention and love he needs with some patience. Ideally no kids, as he has some slight protective tendencies primarily with his food. He loves to play rough, but he knows when to cool down. He is such a great loving dog but unfortunately with life getting in the way I am unable to care for him the way I think he needs and deserves. He will need some dental work - I am able to help.
