Is anyone missing me? I am an approx. 13 year old male dachshund/chihuahua mix that weighs around 15lbs. No microchip or collar. I was found on Water Way in Rockwall on 6/19/2026. I am currently on stray hold for the next 72 hours to allow my owners time to claim me. If you recognize me, please call the Rockwall Adoption center at 972-771-7750 ex 2. While we’re not sure what she’s mixed with, whatever it is gave her a slightly bigger build than a typical dachshund—she weighs about 28 pounds and is the perfect small-to-medium size. Pinky is an easygoing, low-key girl who is just as happy lounging on a dog bed as she is soaking up the sun outside. She has a calm, content personality and doesn’t require constant activity to be satisfied. She does well with dogs of all sizes and would fit nicely into a home with other respectful canine companions. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is generally very well-mannered. Pinky is fearful of small children, so she will need a home without young kids where she can feel safe and comfortable. Howdy, I am Callum! I’m about 16 pounds right now and mostly legs! I’m still growing into them! Before I came into rescue, my mama, my siblings, and I were trying to survive on our own in South Texas. Life was pretty scary, and one of my siblings even fell into a drain! Thankfully, some wonderful people, including the fire department, came to the rescue and made sure every single one of us made it out safely. Now we’re all safe, loved, and learning what it means to just be puppies. As for me, I’m having a blast! I live with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I get along with everyone. I’m also cat-approved! I love toys and think they all belong on the floor, so I make sure to pull every single one out. If nobody wants to play, that’s okay cause I’m perfectly happy entertaining myself. I’m working hard on my potty training and doing really well. I always use my puppy pads, and when I need to go outside, I’ll head right to the door to let you know. I love being outside and soaking up the sunshine with my dog friends. Sunbathing is one of my favorite activities. I’m not the clingy type, but when I get sleepy, I do enjoy curling up next to you or sitting in your lap. I know how to sit for food and treats, and everyone says I’m such a good listener. I think they’re right! Mostly, I’m just a happy boy looking for a family to love. I’ve come a long way from surviving to thriving, and I can’t wait to find my forever home. Love, Callum ❤️
