You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link:   https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Jack is a shy boy that is the absolute sweetest once he warms up. He was part of an abuse case and was confiscated along with his siblings when he was just a few months old. Jack warms up quicker with women than men, and definitely will need another dog in the home to play with. He LOVES other dogs, big or small. His favorite game is to get the other dogs to chase him. He is crate trained (he loves his crate and it is his safe place but he is fine being left out...he's not destructive at all) and potty trained. He loves to go for walks. He doesn't do fetch but will happily chew on his benebone or a bully stick and sometimes plays on his own with a stuffed toy. (He loves food, treats, chew bones...and also butt scratches.) Once he warms up he will give kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. He will also happily sleep in his crate if his human prefers no dogs in the bed. Jack was born at the end of January 2022 and currently weighs right under 25 lbs. We think he is Dachshund, some kind of Terrier, and maybe some Chihuahua?? He has a very long, slim body but also longer legs than a Dachshund would have.  If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention. Story
Marilynn needs a new home, ideally as the only dog. She is fine with other pets (maybe a small dog) she is GREAT with adults, has not been around very young kids, should be fine with older kids, she is very loving, well-behaved and house broken. She was trained for service dog but failed due to lack of focus on handler. She is happy to do whatever you are doing be it sitting around on the couch watching TV or running in the fields on trails she is a lover... Does NOT do well with high energy dogs. Would be best as only dog, or with a respectful dog. She is fine with cats. She has flea and tick heartworm meds all of her food bedding and doggie clothes...plus vet records. She is heartworm free clear of all fleas and ticks and up to date on all vaccinations. Perfect little pup for an older couple or someone just looking for a great companion. Her weight is 23 pounds. Beautiful mural coloration pattern can see just fine. Adoption fee is for her heartworm prevention/flea and tick prev...

♥️ Let's help Rover find his Furever Home for the Holidays! Rover is a precious soul and a survivor despite all odds! He was abandoned by his previous owners with a severe tail injury and separation anxiety.. both of which have drastically improved with the proper TLC!  He's very sweet and affectionate.  He loves to cuddle and be near his person. He's house trained and crate trained.  He LOVES his daily walks and would LOVE to chase and play fetch for hours! 🥎 He’s the perfect hiking buddy and it's adorable to watch him play with his squeaky bear (Video upon request!😆) !! Another of Rover's favs are his chew bones. He's food motivated and easy to train. He's very smart and effortlessly listens to directions. He does great with cats and he's most comfortable with dogs who are older and/or slower. Rover is approx 25 lbs and he's guestimated to be 3-4 years old.  He's been neutered, chipped and tested hw neg! 🥰Quote from Rover's foster mom:   "He's honestly the best dog ever. And I've met hundreds! He will make a perfect pet for his forever home!" If Rover might be the little companion you're looking for, please reach out!
