Marshall is a fantastic boy!  He is dog, cat and kid friendly! He rides well in the car, walks great on a leash, is crate and potty trained!  He'll enjoy a long walk or a snuggle sesh on the couch and rarely complains! The one thing hindering this amazing boy from finding a family, is that he is absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. He needs a home with sympathetic and understanding humans that will love him and reassure him in these times of doubt.  He will repay you for your kindness with endless love and kisses.   Marshall is about 50lbsHe is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Oh Hammy that FACE. The ears. The happy tongue. He looks like he wakes up every day thinking it’s the best day of his life.   Hammy’s previous owner loved him enough to make sure he landed somewhere safe. She patiently waited until we had a foster say “yes,” and now this sweet, lanky boy is settling into his foster home while he waits for his forever family.   And let us tell you… he is a GOOD one.   Hammy is a 1-year-old Lab cross with long legs, a big smile, and an even bigger heart. At 77 lbs, he’s a tall drink of water with that classic goofy Lab energy. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people.   He’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and brings that joyful, tail-wagging energy wherever he goes. Whether it’s backyard zoomies, couch cuddles, or tagging along on adventures, Hammy is just excited to be included.   Hammy’s Quick Facts: Lab cross 1 year old 77 lbs (lanky and lovable!) Neutered Up to date on vaccines Dog friendly Kid friendly   Hammy didn’t lose his home because he wasn’t a good dog — he just needs the right forever fit. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a happy heart and the sweetest eyes, Hammy might be your guy.   Apply to meet him and come see why rescue really is our favorite breed.   ##2665632##
