Luna is a 7 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

TOOTIE FRUITIES PUPPIES Best-Fit Homes -Potential adopters MUST be available for “Puppy Pick-Up” on September 26 in the Houston area. -Puppies are a time commitment. Please be sure you have a schedule that is conducive to guidance, socialization, and training for these precious doodles. -Future neutering/spaying will be part of the contract for each of the puppies at an appropriate age. DDR covers a pre-set amount toward the surgery. -We do not have a way to predict if they will be non-shedding as this cannot be determined from puppy coats. -We do not know how big they will be as we have never seen the dad; however, Mom is a dalmadoodle about 20 lbs. Currently, the puppies range from 4-5 lbs. Personalities Persimmon (M): The floof-meister, this little chunk is a heart-melter who can do no wrong. Clementine (F): Tiny and tough, this girl is watching the pack and looking for her next playmate. Blueberry (M): He’s the crowd favorite. He loves to play and all of his siblings love to play with him. Raspberry (F): She’s the runt of the bunch. She’s “just a baby” and is happy to be carried around. Cherry (F): She’s smart, curious, and brave. She was the first to venture out of the whelping box and is determined to eventually scale the walls of her current pen.
