Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Snow is the definition of sweet, gentle companionship. This precious girl has a calm, loving personality and thrives on being close to her people. Her absolute favorite place? Curled up right next to you on the couch, enjoying a cozy night of TV and snuggles. ❤️ Snow is **fully housebroken** and does wonderfully when kept on a consistent routine—she’s had zero accidents and does an amazing job holding it like a pro! She’s a smart girl, too—Snow already knows her name and comes running when called (especially if you clap and call for her from outside!). She’s currently learning “sit” and is *so close* to mastering it. She also understands “nai nai” as bedtime and settles in peacefully for the night without any fuss. Snow has a joyful, playful side—she’ll do the cutest little jumps when she’s excited, especially in the mornings or when you come home. It’s impossible not to smile watching her! 😊 She’s also: • Great during baths—calm and cooperative • A fan of walks and, of course, treats 🍪 • Quiet and easygoing (she rarely barks, and when she does, it’s usually at cats—and it’s more adorable than intimidating!) Snow loves her routine, including her morning and bedtime treats, which she happily reminds you about. She’s the perfect mix of affectionate, well-mannered, and low-key—an ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving best friend. ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Dewormed If you’re looking for a gentle soul who just wants to be by your side, Snow is your girl. 🐾 👉 Apply to adopt: [Insert Your Adoption Link Here] #AdoptSnow #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #ForeverHome #DogLovers #RescueDogsRock

Story
Shayla’s story could have gone very differently. She came to Humane Tomorrow with a group of dogs left to survive on their own in a drug-infested neighborhood in East Texas. Covered in demodectic mange and missing much of her beautiful coat, Shayla looked rough around the edges, but her sweet spirit never disappeared. With a little medicine, good food, and plenty of love, she has blossomed into the brindle princess she was always meant to be. ✨ Now this gorgeous girl is thriving. Shayla is the perfect medium size, good with other dogs, and full of personality. She does have a flair for drama...if another dog gives her even the slightest correction, she yells as though she’s starring in a canine soap opera. Five seconds later, she’s back to playing again. Shayla is smart, too. She knows how to use a dog door, loves curling up beside you in bed all night, and lives for a good game of fetch. Toss the ball once and you’ll have a devoted fan club for life. After everything she’s been through, Shayla is more than ready for a safe, happy home where she’ll never be forgotten again. She does sadly have heartworms but has started her treatment, which is paid by Humane Tomorrow’s amazing donors.

Bear was taught early to be aware of stranger danger so he needs a minute to check you out before just jumping in and giving you a hug. Once you are in his circle you will be there for life. Bear can flow with life as you need. He has been a great playmate with a number of dogs and is a Camp Bow Wow regular but would likely be happy as the single guy in your life Got a soft dog bed in every room? Fabulous - he'll use them all Enjoy a game of tug that you probably won't win? Perfect - he's going to be sure to win Road tripper? All good but you better bring the road snacks Lace up for a long walk or hike and he'll be at the door waiting with leash in paw. Bear would be a great dude dog, single lady friend or family man. Let him know what you need and he'll be there.
