Breed: American / European Doberman Pinscher DOB: 9/5/2022 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): grey/gold Description: Hi, I'm Farrah, a gorgeous American/European Doberman Pinscher who is in need of a new home as my former home could no longer give me the care that I need. I love running and playing, good with dog and cats. Although I am good with older children, I'd do best in an adult only home. I need an experienced and an active owner and preferably a house with a big backyard. I can be hyper, stubborn, jumpy (I can jump over baby gates) but most of all lovable. I will need a patient person who will work with me as I am known to dig, bark and play nip. If you're ready and able to give me a lifetime of love and wonderful memories, please fill out an application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog and giving her the chance for a better life.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Doberman Pinscher / Poodle (medium and standard) / German Shepherd / Golden Retriever / White Swiss Shepherd DOB: 12/2018 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black / red brown Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering, please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Willow, my Wisdom DNA results are in and I’m 53% Doberman Pinscher, 20% Poodle (medium and standard), 18% German Shepherd, 6% Golden Retriever and 3% White Swiss Shepherd. And, to top that off, I am clear for MDR1 medication sensitivity which means I have no genetic disposition to drug sensitivities and can safely receive standard medications. I’m loving, gentle, smart, loyal and a 100% good dog looking for my forever home as my owner can no longer afford to take care of me. I'm a great family dog and would do well in a home with children over the age of six due to my size as I sometimes jump up when excited. I have spent most of my life in a loving family environment, and I yearn for a family to call my own again. I would like a home where someone is around most of the day, as I suffer from separation anxiety and get lonely easily and that is just because I want to be near you. I will jump the fence if left alone in the backyard and will go exploring if a door is left open. I’m housebroken, crate trained, love car rides, I walk quite well on a leash and listen and look to you for direction. I’m gentle with treats and have no food or toy aggression.I know several commands: sit, down, speak, shake, stay and play dead - and I know I could learn more. I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch and tug-of-war and laying in the sun. I'm not a fan of bikes, skateboards or motorcycles; but I have gone offsite with volunteers and they are helping desensitize me to these things and they are also introducing me to stores and restaurants.Although I was ok with the other dogs at a mobile I went to, I would prefer to be the only dog and only pet in the home as I can be anxious around other dogs and I'm not good with cats.I am the perfect companion for anyone looking for an affectionate and playful dog. I can't wait to meet my new family! If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.*Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life.January 21, 2026, 7:47 pm

Story
MEET BLITZ, an 85-lb stunning Doberman male who is waiting for his forever home. Blitz is a large Dobie, almost 2 years old. He is a dark red, almost chocolate color and is magnificent in appearance. Blitz is currently in training in the Los Angeles area to overcome some fears and quirks he has had in the past. He is affectionate with people he knows but in the past was tense and suspicious with strangers, especially if he is in a confined space. He can also be a bit stubborn, though his training is helping tremendously. Blitz gets along great with other dogs-- he has previously lived happily with a female Doberman in his foster home. Because of his size and strength, a home without small children is mandatory. Blitz has high energy and would benefit from having a yard, where he can run and play. Blitz is hypo-thyroid so is on inexpensive thyroid medication, which will likely be forever. We believe Blitz is of European ancestry and like all Euro-Dobies, he has heavier bones and a larger head than the more petite American Dobies. Blitz is without question a lot of dog! But he is a lot of really good dog. Doberman or large-dog experience is a must for his adoption. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Rhodesian Ridgeback/pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better! He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping 2025 is his year! Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs. Please email for an application.
