Story
✨ Meet Jenny! ✨ 🐾 8-month-old Poodle Mix 🐾 Shy but full of puppy energy (think toddler!) 🐾 Non-shedding, but professional grooming every 2–3 months is a must (we cannot guarantee hypoallergenic). Nail trims every 6 weeks. Jenny is a sweet, playful, shy girl who loves fetch and chew toys. She’s crate trained, mostly house trained (occasional accidents if rushed 😉), and would do best in a home with another small, playful dog—or as your cherished one-and-only. She adores her sister Sally, and while they comfort each other at events, they will thrive better in separate homes. Please do not request them as a pair. 💕 🚫 No medium/large dogs 🚫 No kids under 10 🚫 No chain link fencing (she’s a climber/digger!) 🚫 No Acreages 🚫 No Dayhomes or Daycare type settings. ✅ Training with Joanna at For the Love of Paws is required. 📧 To apply: Email Heartprintsdogadoptions@gmail.com ➡️ Include a short bio about your family, home, fencing, and other pets. (Only those who provide a bio & are a potential match will be contacted.) 📣 Ask my rescue guardians for the About Our Rescue Document when you email them. We only accept applications from potential adopters in the following cities. At Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society, our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our care. To ensure we can best support them, we only adopt within the Edmonton Region, which includes: ➡️ Beaumont ➡️ Devon ➡️ Edmonton ➡️ Fort Saskatchewan ➡️ Leduc ➡️ St. Albert ➡️ Sherwood Park ➡️ Stony Plain ➡️ Spruce Grove ❌ We do not have the capacity to extend our services beyond this area, so please refrain from requests outside our region. ‼️ DISCLAIMER ‼️ We only adopt to force free homes, the adoptive family must continue force free practices after adoption. We are volunteer based and although we would love to respond to all the applications, we can only contact the application we want to move forward with.

This includes, but is not limited to: • Children living in the home • Regular or occasional visits from children • Childcare, babysitting, or playdate environments • Homes planning to have children in the future There will be NO exceptions. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved and to give Scruffy the structure and consistency he needs to succeed. Scruffy must be placed in an adult-only home committed to structure, management, and continued force-free, positive-reinforcement training. 🚫 Applications that do not meet this requirement will not receive a response. 📍 Adoption Area — PLEASE READ We do not adopt outside of Alberta or Canada. If flyball, agility, rally obedience, or structured enrichment training sounds exciting — Scruffy is your boy. This is not a couch-potato puppy. Scruffy thrives on routine, mental stimulation, encouragement, and having a job to do. He is seeking an adult-only home that will channel his enthusiasm into positive, structured outlets. 🏡 House Training Scruffy is mostly house trained in his foster home. As with many puppies, a short adjustment period should be expected when transitioning to a new environment. Consistency and patience are essential. 💦 Excited Pee Alert Scruffy loves people — sometimes a little too much. He can experience excited urination when meeting new people. This is currently being managed with belly bands, crate decompression, and calm greetings. Continued training will be required. ❤️ Personality Happy, affectionate, people-loving, and always ready to go. Scruffy bonds deeply with his people and will thrive with adopters who enjoy training, activity, and engagement. 📍 Meet Scruffy In Person 🐶 Pet Valu Devon 🕛 12:00 – 2:00 PM 📅 Saturday, February 7,2026. ✨ If you’re looking for a driven, affectionate, high-energy pup who is ready to learn and work — Scruffy may be the right fit for you.

Story
🐾 **Meet Nacho** 🐾 **Terrier–Poodle Mix | Puppy (under 1 year old)** Nacho is a **sweet, sensitive young pup** who is still learning about the world and will thrive in a patient, supportive home. He enjoys **cuddling and companionship with other small breed dogs** and would benefit from having a calm canine friend. Nacho is currently learning to feel comfortable wearing a **harness and collar** in his foster home and will require continued guidance using **force-free, positive reinforcement methods only**. As part of his adoption, **force-free obedience training classes are mandatory**. Training is essential to help Nacho build confidence, develop good manners, and create a strong bond with his future family. Nacho **sleeps in his crate overnight**. If he cries at the crate door, this indicates he urgently needs a bathroom break. Adopters must be attentive to these cues and ensure the **yard is checked and secure** before letting him outside, with no unexpected animals or hazards present. Nacho is not comfortable wearing **dog clothing or boots** and prefers a simple, low-pressure environment. He is a gentle soul who will do best with routine, patience, and understanding as he continues to grow. 📍 **Meet Nacho in person** 📅 **February 7th** ⏰ **12:00 PM – 2:00 PM** 📌 **Pet Valu – Devon** 📩 **Interested in attending the Meet & Greet or learning more?** Please email: **[Heartprintsdogadoptions@gmail.com] (mailto:Heartprintsdogadoptions@gmail.com)** 📄 **Before applying**, all potential adopters must review our **About Our Rescue** document.
