Story
Hello world! 🐾🐶 I’m Smalls! Named after the famous character from The Sandlot. I am the tiniest (yet mightiest!) member of the Baseball Bunch, and I am FINALLY ready to begin my search for my forever home. I am about 5 months old, and a terrier chihuahua mix. As many of you probably remember, I have a couple conditions that make me a very special boy. The rescue folks say that after a few vet visits with my favorite Dr. Vicki up in Kernville, that I have this thing called congenital hydrocephalus, and dwarfism. These are big words that sound a little scary to me, but neither condition stops me from living a happy life full of play. With dwarfism, I am not likely to grow much more (except for my ears!) and I do have some bladder incontinence along with some mild deformity to my hind legs. I sprinkle when I tinkle, and I don’t always realize that I need to go potty before it’s too late. Paper towels and Clorox wipes have been great for my foster, and clean up has been a breeze! Congenital hydrocephalus is a buildup of spinal fluid around my brain. Congenital just means I was born this way. My case is mild. To date, I have had two ultrasounds on my head and it’s not getting any worse, but it does cause me to have some eye issues; and my vision is not the greatest. I am still very young (like a brand new puppy), in my mind, and my development will always be slower than other dogs my age. This condition will need routine monitoring throughout my life, and I have already graduated from monthly vet appointments to appointments every three months! 🤩 Dr. Vicki says if I continue to improve or stay the same, the time between appointments will grow longer as I get older. My phenomenal foster mom is a dog trainer and has been working very hard with me on appropriate play, leash walks, boundaries with other dogs, and other skills a pup my age needs to know. She is moving next month, but she is willing to have a few sessions with my adopted family before she leaves so I start my next chapter on the right paw. If you’re interested in meeting me, please message the rescue peeps!

Story
Looking for a loving home for Bulma 💙 It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking to rehome my sweet 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix, Bulma Blue. She is such a loving, playful girl who absolutely loves to run, play, and be around her people. Bulma is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, and fully potty trained. She is great with other dogs and does well with children. She would do best in a home WITHOUT cats or birds. Since having my baby, I’ve realized that I can’t give Bulma the time, attention, and exercise she needs and truly deserves. This is NOT an easy decision, but I want to find her a home where she can get all the love, playtime, and companionship she deserves. 🩵 She is a wonderful dog with so much love to give, and I’m hoping to find someone who will treat her like part of the family and give her the happy, active life she deserves.

Story
🐾Hello world! I’m Benita (or Benni for short!)🐾 I am a spunky, sweet, and loving terrier pup. I lost all of my siblings in our fight with parvo, and I not only survived, but I thrived! I have been completely clear of parvo for a bit now, and I am finally ready to find my FURever family. I am spayed, and fully vaccinated. I can be a little bit shy and reserved at first, but I warm up quickly and loooove to snuggle right in to any lap that is available for me! These folks say I might just be a Velcro dog... 😉 If you’re interested in meeting me, message the rescue page!

Story
Persephone is a sweet girl. She loves cuddles and thinks she’s a lap dog. She is weary of strangers at first but she warms up very quickly. She is mostly calm but also loves to play. She is a good dog but unfortunately recently she hasn’t been getting along with my other dog. She would do best in an active house with no other pets. She loves to be the center of attention. She is 6 years old (born May 5, 2020). She is NOT SPAYED. She is a pure bred Presa Canario and she is UKC registered.

Story
Loki is a big family dog who gets along with everyone! He is a sweet 4 year old baby. Forgets he’s a large breed dog and tries to fit in your lap. His favorite things to do are play in the yard and be by your side giving hugs and kisses. At night he sleeps in the kids room standing guard! Due to horrible landlords I need to rehome him at no fault of his own. He will come with food, bed, blanket, water bowl, 2 collars and his leash. I have less than a week to rehome him or eviction will happen.
