Story
Baxter is a 7-month-old hound, pit bull, and shepherd mix with the sweetest soul and the gentlest eyes. This handsome young pup may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality truly shines. Baxter is still learning about the big world around him and would thrive in a patient home that can continue his socialization and help build his confidence. With kindness, encouragement, and positive experiences, he blossoms more each day. He enjoys quiet moments, gentle affection, and would do best with a family that understands that shy dogs just need a little extra time — and give back so much love in return. At just 7 months old, Baxter is still a puppy, which means he’s full of potential and ready to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted best friend and are willing to guide him as he gains confidence, Baxter may be your perfect match. 💛 Will do best in a home with another dog. Disclaimer: While at Chico Animal Shelter he and his litter mates were in one kennel. A volunteer put their hands through the bars and got bit, and it drew blood. They were unable to identify which puppy exactly was the one that bit them. All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Story
Fluffy is a cuddly teddy bear when his fur grows out from the short-haired, groomed look he is sporting currently. This lucky little boy was rescued from Tahiti after trying to survive on the beach at a resort that ended up closing leaving him homeless and without a source of food. He is an easy-going and intelligent soul who is keen to learn new things. He has already figured out that sitting results in a yummy treat! Fluffy spends lots of time playing with chew toys of all kinds and laying beside his human companions on the couch.  This lovely boy walks well on a leash and when he hits his favorite place, the beach, he will put on a show of zoomie circles and even add some little flip jumps in the air to impress you! Fluffy sleeps well through the night and loves to curl up in adorable poses at the foot of the bed with his human. He is potty-trained and patiently waits to go outdoors to do his business. Fluffy is an incredibly social dog who needs a home abundant in love and the belly rubs he enjoys so much. He is a chill and happy soul filled with heaps of affection and fun and deserves a lifetime of loyalty and love as he will give the same in return.

Story
Meet Dulce Breed: Terrier Mix Sex: Female Age: 2 Years Old Weight: 45 Pounds Health: Healthy, vaccinated, and spayed Dulce is a gentle, thoughtful girl whose name truly fits her — sweet in every sense of the word. She was found frightened and hiding under a parked car, likely abandoned by someone she once trusted. Despite that experience, Dulce has shown nothing but kindness, patience, and quiet resilience. Now safe, she’s ready for the kind of home that will never make her feel forgotten again. Personality Dulce is calm, intelligent, and deeply loving. She has a soft, steady presence that brings a sense of peace to those around her. She enjoys companionship and connection, but she isn’t demanding or overwhelming. Dulce is the type of dog who will quietly sit beside you, rest her head near you, and simply be content knowing she’s close. She observes the world thoughtfully and forms strong bonds once she feels safe. Her loving nature and gentle demeanor make her an incredibly special companion. Breed Info Terrier mixes often combine intelligence, loyalty, and a balanced level of energy. They tend to be observant dogs who form deep attachments to their families. Many terrier mixes enjoy moderate activity like walks and playtime, but they also appreciate downtime with their people. With structure, guidance, and affection, they become loyal companions who thrive when included in daily life. Owner Responsibilities Dulce will flourish with an adopter who offers stability, patience, and kindness. She will benefit from regular walks, mental stimulation, and continued positive reinforcement. Like any dog who has experienced uncertainty, she may need a little time to fully trust that she is finally safe. Providing consistency and gentle leadership will help her confidence grow beautifully. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before adopting Dulce, consider your long-term readiness. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Dulce move with you? Do you have time for companionship, exercise, and bonding every day? Are you financially prepared for food, veterinary care, and unexpected medical needs? Dogs like Dulce deserve stability and lifelong commitment — not another temporary home. Vet Care Dulce is already vaccinated and spayed, but it is still important to establish care with your own veterinarian soon after adoption. This helps ensure preventative care continues properly and provides a trusted medical partner for her health moving forward. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days Dulce may feel unsure as she adjusts to a completely new environment. The first 3 weeks she will begin learning your routine and feeling more secure. By 3 months, with patience and consistency, she will fully trust and show her loving personality. This transition period is normal and important for rescue dogs. Why Dulce? Dulce has already endured being left behind once, yet she still chooses kindness. She deserves a family who sees her gentle heart and promises her the stability she was missing before. In return, she will offer quiet loyalty, warm companionship, and the kind of love that only a grateful rescue dog can give. If you’re ready to give a deserving dog the safe and loving future she’s been waiting for, Dulce is ready to come home. Meet Jjon-deuk🌟 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1️⃣ Health Status * Neutering: Completed. * Others: Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Jjon-deuk was waiting for a family at the Gimje Shelter. Because the shelter environment was very poor, we rescued him urgently out of concern that staying there any longer might harm his health. 3️⃣ Personality & Characteristics * With Human: Ie is a bit shy and avoided people when first rescued. However, is naturally bright and gentle, so once he gets familiar with you, he becomes a total sweetheart! * With Dogs: Doesn't mind other dogs at the center much, but doesn't like it when they bother him too much. * With Cats: Hasn't met any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown as he is currently living in a group at the center. Training will be needed from the start once he moves to a home. * Potty Training: Uses indoor pads at the center, but since he is in a group environment, he may need fresh training in a home setting. * Grooming: Feels a bit uncomfortable with brushing and nail clipping, but is patient and handles it well. * Walking: Since it hasn't been long since he arrived at the center, he hasn't had walking experience yet. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness observed during short-distance trips. * Biting: Has never shown any tendency to bite. * Barking: Does not bark unnecessarily.
