We can drive Misty home to 29 Palms for a confirmed adoption (we bring her to you!), but cannot do casual meet-and-greets due to the drive. Meet Misty: At 10 months old (~60lbs), Misty is a "Love Bug." Unlike her goofy brother, she is a sensitive soul who bonds deeply. She wants to be your shadow! Why She Wins: Crate Trained: Sleeps quietly through the night. Dog Friendly: She takes confidence from other dogs; would love a sibling. Personality: Shy at first, then total Velcro. I adopted her a year ago after a neighbor suddenly passed. I think shes between 4-5 years old and 60 lbs. Shes very loyal, sweet, affectionate and loves to play. Born and raised in the desert she loves the outdoors. She gets along well with most other dogs, with aggressive ones she will stand her ground. Shes got a strong prey instinct for cats and small wildlife. Makes for a good guard dog, shes quiet most of the time but has a loud bark when strangers come to the fence. She would do quite well on a large working property - farm, homestead etc. I work a lot of hours at the desk and she needs more attention than I can give her. Free to a good home.

I have recently taken in my boyfriend's mother and she came with a dog that we can't make get along with our cats. This causes him to have to stay in a cage which triggers his separation anxiety causing him to pee and scream. Its sad to see and I'd like to find a more suitable home for him. He is very cuddly and obnoxiously sweet. He is the definition of a lap dog and will never let the right person be out of his sight for a moment. He gets along with the other dogs, but does have food bowl aggression towards them if they don't mind his space while eating. We've had him for 5 months and have tried with multiple people to rehome him all in failed attempts since they last minute brought up having cats. This is our last attempt before taking him to the pound which I was hoping to avoid, but we just don't have the materials to make him work in our home any longer.

I’ve had Bella since she was just 8 weeks old, and this has been an incredibly difficult decision. Bella is a loyal, loving, and gentle dog who truly becomes part of the family. She is amazing with children and does well with other pets. She is fully trained, well-mannered, and up to date on all vaccinations.
