Story
Harley will be 5 this year in October. She is a very loving, loyal, and smart dog. We always tell the story of when we were looking for triple A batteries and me and my son were standing in the hallway talking about how we couldnt find any, and Harley comes by and drops a triple A battery from her mouth. I promise that is a true story. She does well with her non bio sister, a blue heeler and is not the dominant of the two. We are looking to re-home Harley due to some behavioral issues of getting too frustrated with our toddler. She never nips at him and can be very patient, but she does bark at him to get away and gets frustrated when the toddler is in her space when she is not in the mood. Other behavioral issues I attribute as my own issues because her barking in the backyard and pulling on the leash during walks are things that I have failed to train her to not do. I hope to find her a loving home with older kids. She really is a good dog.

Story
Otis is a spunky little 5 month old Chorkie! He loves to play, but also loves cuddles on or near your lap. He is great with kids, potty trained and knows basic commands, i.e. Sit, bed, come, leave it, and give paw! Otis has been learning to walk on a leash and has had all but his last parvo shots. We got him at 8 weeks old and he had his initial vet exam with an, all clear! Unfortunately our 5 year old has been "overly playful" and isnt understanding the concept of respecting the animal and we feel he may be safer in a home with older children or children that have experience handling small animals. Otis is crate trained, but prefers cuddles or play on the couch! It hurts my heart to do this, but his safety and well being are more important to us, and this was something unforseen unfortunately.

Story
Hi, my name is Tucker. I've had a pretty bad start and was just returned for the second time. You see, when I love, I love with all my heart and sometimes I don't want to share my person, so I would really love to find the following for my forever: Single man or woman that I can love all to myself I don't get scared for fireworks because I'm DEAF! I won't hear you snore, but don't judge me because I do! I get along with other dogs, but would really prefer to be alone with my person! I love to snuggle! I don't have to go on long walks because, well, I'm a lazy guy! I love to just sit on the couch while you watch Netflix, Prime or play video games. I'm a literally the best boy! Please give me a chance, you really won't regret it!

Story
Meet Vash! Vash is a 4 year old Bully mix and currently weighs 60lbs. Vash is neutered, utd on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Vash is house and kennel trained. He rings a bell to indicate he needs to go outside and is does best if kenneled when home alone. He is not destructive and happily chews his dog toys and does not chews blankets or beds in his kennel. He loves children, and currently lives with a 6 year old. He would love a home with kids, but because of his size and tendency to jump when excited, would do best with older children. Vash walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He loves to snuggle, give him a blanket and that’s even better! Vash lives with six other dogs but can only be out with two, a Jack Russel/daschund mix (30lbs) and a pitbull/Great Dane mix (80lbs). He does well with other dogs but is selective and would be best with calm and tolerant dogs. Vash would do well as an only dog with lots of snuggle time as well. Vash does have a high prey drive, he needs a home without chickens. His adoption fee is $165. If you think he might be a good fit for your home, please submit your application. Story
This guy had a rough start. He came to us after being hit by car as a 8 week old puppy. He had a brain injury as a result of being hit, but he is a normal puppy now. Now 6 months old, he is ready for his forever! He loves other dogs and people. He is still learning how best to interact with dogs who are younger than him. He will need someone to be patient while he learns.

Story
Meet Nick – Your New Best Friend! Nick is a 3-year-old, 65-pound mixed breed with a heart as big as his sweet, soulful eyes. With his sleek short coat and medium build, he’s the perfect size for snuggling on the couch—and that just happens to be his favorite place to be! Nick is incredibly smart, affectionate, and gentle. He thrives on companionship and would love nothing more than to be by your side—whether you’re hanging out inside or enjoying time outdoors. He’s a toy enthusiast, a devoted cuddle buddy, and a loyal shadow who simply wants to love and be loved. Nick is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. While he had a rough patch with another dog in a previous foster home and is currently working on rebuilding his confidence around other dogs, he’s made incredible progress with guidance and patience. Nick would still make an ideal only dog (he would make the perfect “Hallmark companion dog”). His first love is to people, then to toys, and finally to his foster buddy TJ. With the right dog (not alpha), and slow introductions, he should be ok, although I am convinced, he would be content as an only dog. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and devoted companion, Nick may just be the perfect match.
