Story
Alpha is a medium sized young pitbull terrier mix that is up to date on his shots, microchipped, neutered, and has gone to training classes with his foster! He is good with other dogs but not so much with his feline or livestock counterparts. Alpha is potty trained using a bell, and is also crate training! Alpha uses a slow feeder bowl to help him actually enjoy his meals rather than eating it all at once. He is intelligent, energetic, playful, adventurous, curious, affectionate, and still very much a puppy. He’s working on mastering basic commands such as sit, stay, down, & come. He sits politely and eagerly for his food now! He’s very treat motivated and loves receiving praise. Despite a rough start to life as a found stray pup, Alpha is fearless with a dash of sass. He is navigating a new way of life joyously. He even walks with a little “pep in his step”/prance. This handsome boy loves to play with the resident dog in the home. He is very good at fetch - it’s probably his favorite game! He would likely be great at agility courses as his training continues. Alpha has a fantastic superpower to curl up into the tiniest ball to cuddle at bedtime - he’s very affectionate and loving.

Mia is a very sweet and shy girl. She is skiddish around men but loves women and kids. Good with cats and other dogs. She is very submissive, and gentle with other animals. She does love to run and play when outside but when in the house she is very calm. Would make a great couch buddy. She is crate and house trained. She does run out of the house barking at nothing and everything because her mom taught her to protect her home. She is a great watch dog. Mia is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. She was born 4/11/22.
