Story
3-4yrs old ~50lbs Heartworm negative Spayed! Meet Tolah! She found herself on the code red list, but thankfully a new foster stepped up to save her life! Tolah is super friendly and is always smiling! She does great with other dogs and is fostered around an 8 and 5yr old children. They love to run around together and play fetch. Tolah adores stuffies but will rip them up. She enjoys toys and they keep her content. Tolah is mostly housetrained, she may still have an occasional accident but if kept on a schedule and taken out, she does great. Tolah sleeps inside and stays in a restroom area with no issues. She is also kenneled outside some during the day and is good about chilling. Working on her leash skills, she does quite well but will tug and pull some. She has learned the following commands-“wait” “stop” “potty” “go” and will even wait to eat after we pray. Tolah does pretty well in a car. She can be a little shy at first but once she relaxes her super outgoing, funny, clumsy, sweet and playful side comes out! She adores belly rubs, back scratches and kisses!!

Story
Let’s talk about a story of survival. Sweet Desi found herself in a cold concrete cell, a broken shell of a dog covered in open sores, patchy hair, dry skin, and severely underweight. Despite obvious failures by humans in her life, she was the kindest soul to all the volunteers. Her story didn’t deserve to end by heart stick, so she was pulled to be a hospice case. Figuring we would show her love and kindness before setting her free of her pain. But you know what love did, it began to transform her! Her wounds healed, she gained weight, we got her skin and coat healthy and shiny. But she had another battle to overcome, heartworm. She received the treatments like a champion and completed them in great strides. Desi is housetrained, good with other dogs of various sizes/ages, and loves hanging out with human kiddos. She even shares her foster home with a kitty and can often be found sleeping in her crate or on the couch. From death row, to hospice care, to overcoming all and being ready to find her forever!

Story
Description Jake 4-5 years 52lbs Heartworm Negative Neutered Jake was rescued as part of a cruelty case where multiple dogs were taken. The dogs were sadly all starving, chained up and living among filth. Thankfully the courts sided in our favor and we were able to rescue 3 of them. Given his background, we have been amazed at his transition! From dog testing, meeting new people, taking treats gently, he is a good boy. Jake is just a handsome boy that is oh so sweet! He dog tested well. Very people friendly. Jake recently moved into a foster home and so far he’s having a blast exploring all the new things! Jake loves food and treats. He’s gentle when taking treats. He doesn’t show much interest in toys but he really likes Kongs or the lickable type of toys with some peanut butter. Jake is currently sleeping indoors in a crate and he’s had no potty accidents! He sleeps quietly thru the night aside from the occasional light snoring but that just adds to his charm, lol! He’s also crated indoors when we’re not home. Jake may have some opinions when he is first crated but he settles down pretty quick. While the crate isn’t his first choice in places to be, he will easily run in if you throw a treat inside. Jake really enjoys being outside but he also likes being inside exploring the house. Jake is hesitant getting in the car but once he’s in, he rides well. Currently uses a dog seatbelt. He pulls a bit when walking but he’s not hard to walk. He’s just excited to be able to explore! Jake has overcome so much in his life yet he remains full of love and hope. After all he’s been through, he deserves the absolute best. He deserves a family who will not only care for him, but truly love him the way he deserves to be loved. A family that will show him patience and grace as he learns. Jake deserves the world. Jake is ready to meet the people who will finally show him what it means to be safe, loved, and truly in his home

Story
5/7-Hello! My name is Clover, because I’m a lucky girl! And I’m lucky because I was saved from the code red list! The people here think I’d make a good companion, and I have to admit I totally agree! I am only about a year old and weigh 40 lbs. I’m not too big and not too small, I’m just right. I LOVE affection, so if you need cuddles I’m there. I walk pretty well on a leash already, but there’s always room for improvement. I get along with other dogs, but I need slow introductions. My spay day is coming up! I have current vaccines My adoption fee is only $100!
