Story
Wiggles is a sweet, affectionate young mixed breed who absolutely loves being close to her people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who thrives on cuddles and attention, Wiggles is ready to fill that role with her whole heart — and her whole wiggly body! She earned her adorable name because when she gets happy (which is often), her entire body wiggles with excitement. It’s impossible not to smile when you see her joy in action. Wiggles does well with kids and other dogs, but the busy shelter environment can sometimes be overwhelming for her. She’s currently enjoying having a cozy kennel in the office where she can relax and settle away from all the commotion. In a home environment, she’s expected to blossom even more with a consistent routine and plenty of love. One fun thing we’ve learned about Wiggles? She’s surprisingly great at wearing booties! Whether it’s for winter walks or protecting sensitive paws, she takes it all in stride like a champ. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog who will greet you every day with full-body wiggles and endless affection, Wiggles may be your perfect match.

Story
This pint-sized-pitty is a little over 2 years old and LOVES to play fetch. She will chase a ball all day long... or multiple balls (we all have a great time throwing as many balls as possible at the same time)! She also loves car rides, and may try to drive every now and then, but we have let her know she doesn't have a license for that. But she is great at leading the pack on a walk! Piper has a strong personality and enjoys being the star of the show! She gets along with other dogs as long as they know they are the supporting acts for her! But kiddos are her world! The more kids to play with her, the better! If you are ready for a cute little shadow that will keep you entertained all day long, stop by and meet her! We know you’ll fall in love!

Story
Odin is a 6-year-old Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for playtime — especially if a ball is involved! Chasing, fetching, and playing are some of his favorite things, and he brings a joyful, goofy energy to everything he does. Odin is good with cats and enjoys having a dog friend to wrestle and play with. Like Aura, he came to us due to his owner’s failing health, and he is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will love him as much as he loves them. Odin has grown up with Aura, and the two share a strong friendship. While he can be adopted separately, we would love to see Odin and Aura find a home together where they can continue to play, relax, and enjoy life side by side.

Story
Doug is around 1 year old and full of life. Since he came to us as a found dog, we don’t know much about his past—but what we do know is that this boy absolutely lives for playtime. He has big puppy energy and sometimes isn’t quite sure what to do with all of it! Doug does great with other dogs and would love a home with playful pup pals to help him burn off that energy. Doug is already housetrained and has a wonderful foundation to build on. He would benefit from some continued training and a patient, understanding family while he’s learning. The good news? Doug adores people and is eager to please, which makes him a great candidate for training and bonding. With love, structure, and lots of play, Doug is going to be an amazing companion.

Story
Aura is a beautiful 6-year-old Husky mix with a curious spirit and a love for exploring the world around her. She enjoys being on the move, taking in new sights and smells, and spending time outdoors with her people. Aura has a confident but gentle personality and settles in nicely after a good adventure. Aura is good with cats and does well sharing her space. She came to the shelter due to her owner’s declining health, and she is now looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished again. Aura has spent her life with her canine friend, Odin, and they truly enjoy each other’s company. While Aura can be adopted on her own, she would be happiest finding a home where she can continue life alongside her trusted companion.

American Pit Bull Terrier

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meg is a beautiful 9-year-old brindle pit bull. She’s calm, gentle, and incredibly loving—happy to spend her days close to her people, soaking up pets, belly rubs and companionship. Meg thrives in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she has separation anxiety if left alone for more than ~4 hours and is currently on medication. She will let you touch her paws until you try and cut her nails, it usually takes 2 of us. She will chew them to keep them in check most of the time. She would do best with an experienced adopter who understands her needs. In return, she’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to love and be loved. Will send with all remaining food/treats, toys, large crate (partially trained and working on it, overcame the fear when we adopted her but still doesn’t like being out of eyeline while crated), automatic feeder and large water bowl.
