Story
Lucy is a very sweet girl who loves to go on walks. She needs to be an only child with someone who can help her be the best dog she can be. She would do best outside of city limits as she is very good at alerting. She needs someone who can devote time and attention to her and console her during thunder and fireworks. She is a large, silky smooth girl with the best eyebrows in town! She knows a few basic commands but would love to learn more! She is shy around new people and takes a little while to get to know you.

Story
Meet Pax, a gentle and handsome one-year-old Shepherd mix who is looking for a patient family to help his true colors shine! While he can be a bit timid when first meeting new people, it doesn't take long for him to warm up and show off his sweet, loyal personality. Pax is a social butterfly with other dogs and would thrive in a home where he has a furry friend to help boost his confidence. He is currently a work in progress with his housetraining, so he’s looking for a dedicated owner who can provide him with a consistent routine and a little extra guidance as he masters his indoor manners. If you have room in your heart for a resilient pup who just needs a soft place to land, Pax is ready to become your most devoted companion. For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
Meet Dean Barkin, a stunning one-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as his name! This sweet, neutered boy is the definition of a "velcro dog" who lives for human companionship, though his deep devotion means he struggles with some anxiety when left alone. Dean is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue working on his basic manners and housetraining skills in a consistent environment. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine sibling to help him feel more secure. If you have plenty of love to give and the time to help a sensitive soul grow into his best self, Dean Barkin is ready to reward you with a lifetime of loyalty. For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
Meet Stitch! This pure boy is still full of energy, even though he's a bit older. He could run and run for days. He does well on a leash and doesn't mind other dogs. He went to our PACK program years ago and may still know a couple of his commands. He seems to leave cats alone and just ignore them. Stitch has some allergies; they seem to be environmental more than anything else. He gets worse flare ups in the spring. They are managed with a daily allergy medication and occasional allergy shots. This is something that should be continued the rest of his life. Apply to meet this boy today!
