Story
Meet Apollo! This handsome fella is ready for his next big adventure. Apollo came to us after suffering an accident that resulted in us having to amputate one of his legs. He has since then recovered wonderfully and is growing in confidence every day. Apollo can be a bit nervous when first meeting new friends but warms up well with time. The best way we have learned to bond with him is through yummy treats and short walks. Apollo loves going for walks and enjoys finding new smells outside. With the proper time and care Apollo is sure to grow into the perfect companion. If you are interested in meeting Apollo please come see us today!

Story
Meet Marc Anthony! Or sometimes referred to as, "Mr. Big Handsome". This giant teddy bear is looking for a home where he can receive a little TLC. Marc came to us as a stray, so his past is unknown. When entering the shelter, it was clear that he would need a little extra care to get him back to his happy, healthy self. In his short time here, he has done wonderfully with our staff and is growing in confidence (as well as size) every day! Since we don't know much about his past, we would recommend a nice slow introduction into his new home. Of course, the quickest way we have learned to bond with Marc is through extra tasty treats. Marc has really enjoyed the company of other dogs while here at the shelter; he's not a big 'play time' kinda guy, but co-existing is his favorite. He is a very sweet, well-mannered pup who is ready for a fresh new start.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna is a gentle, sweet soul who's looking for a patient family willing to let her blossom at her own pace. New people and unfamiliar situations can make her a little nervous at first, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover an incredibly loyal companion who loves nothing more than being by your side. Luna forms deep bonds with her people and is happiest spending quiet time together, whether that's relaxing at home, going for a leisurely walk, or simply enjoying each other's company. Her affectionate personality truly shines once she feels safe and loved. Luna does have signs of pannus, a progressive inflammatory condition that affects the eyes and causes brown pigment to develop along the edges of her eyeballs. At this time, she does not require medication, but her future family should be aware that she may eventually need daily eye drops to help manage the condition. With routine veterinary care and monitoring, many dogs with pannus continue to live happy, comfortable lives. If you're looking for a faithful best friend and understand that the strongest bonds are sometimes built with a little patience, Luna is ready to fill your home with love. Give this sweet girl the chance she deserves, and she'll reward you with a lifetime of unwavering companionship.
