Hi I am Buster! I am an energetic 2-year-old boy who loves people but is working on basic manners. I would love a home that can continue my good boy training and give me rules to follow. I walk well on a leash and love playing with another dog here named "Cane" but meet and greets are required. I would do best in a home with no cats and no kids under 12-years old. Oden is a "professional" student who recently completed a two-week board-and-train program at B3 K9, giving him a great head start on his manners, though he is still working on perfecting his housetraining skills in a home setting. While he is a social butterfly with people, he can be a bit picky about his canine coworkers, so a meet-and-greet is required to ensure a perfect match; however, he’s looking for a home where he can be the "only child" when it comes to cats. *** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Ricky! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Ricky is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves people and truly aims to please. When playtime rolls around, he turns into a total goofball—especially when a Kong or ball is involved! Ricky is still learning his leash manners, and while it’s a work in progress, he does well when using a Gentle Leader and continues to improve with consistent guidance. He has done very well with female dogs but isn’t always a fan of other males. If he were to have a dog sibling, a female dog would be the best fit, and a meet-and-greet prior to adoption is recommended. Ricky cannot live in a home with cats. Ricky spent quite some time at another shelter in Wyoming, and we’re really hoping his forever family finds him soon. He is such a deserving dog and will make a loyal, loving companion for the right home. He'll graduate towards the end of January and is eager to meet his new paw-rents! Apply to meet Ricky today!
