Story
Hi I am Buster! I am an energetic 2-year-old boy who loves people but is working on basic manners. I would love a home that can continue my good boy training and give me rules to follow. I walk well on a leash and love playing with another dog here named "Cane" but meet and greets are required. I would do best in a home with no cats and no kids under 12-years old. I will be neutered, microchipped and vaccinated upon adoption. Please ask an employee about me if you are interested in taking me home. I will be available for adoption starting 12-29-25.

Raya is learning how to be a dog! She was kept in a crate her whole life and bred a few times. So now she's able to sort out what she's all about, so she's very energetic and loves to run! She likes people and discovering that she actually likes dogs too. She would make a great friend for someone active and patient!

Story
Hooch is a very sensitive dog that would love to be in a quiet, calm, cuddly home. He is very sweet boy who would like to be able to relax with his person in peace! He had a rough start to life but it didn't make him aggressive or mean, just shy and a little scared.

Story
Meet Oden, a handsome two-year-old neutered male Pitbull who is a total bundle of festive energy! This rambunctious boy is the ultimate playmate and would love nothing more than to find a pile of toys under the tree this year. Oden is a "professional" student who recently completed a two-week board-and-train program at B3 K9, giving him a great head start on his manners, though he is still working on perfecting his housetraining skills in a home setting. While he is a social butterfly with people, he can be a bit picky about his canine coworkers, so a meet-and-greet is required to ensure a perfect match; however, he’s looking for a home where he can be the "only child" when it comes to cats. If you’re looking for an active, fun-loving companion to ring in the New Year with, Oden is ready to bring a whole lot of heart and hustle to your home! For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Ricky! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Ricky is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves people and truly aims to please. When playtime rolls around, he turns into a total goofball—especially when a Kong or ball is involved! Ricky is still learning his leash manners, and while it’s a work in progress, he does well when using a Gentle Leader and continues to improve with consistent guidance. He has done very well with female dogs but isn’t always a fan of other males. If he were to have a dog sibling, a female dog would be the best fit, and a meet-and-greet prior to adoption is recommended. Ricky cannot live in a home with cats. Ricky spent quite some time at another shelter in Wyoming, and we’re really hoping his forever family finds him soon. He is such a deserving dog and will make a loyal, loving companion for the right home. He'll graduate towards the end of January and is eager to meet his new paw-rents! Apply to meet Ricky today!
