Story
Hi, I’m Soop! 🐾 I’m a sweet shepherd mix puppy looking for a patient family to call my own! I’ve had a bit of a rough start, and while we don’t know much about my background, I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. ❤️ I can be shy and nervous when meeting new people, but I’m very food motivated and warm up with time, patience, and positive experiences. I absolutely LOVE other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident adult dog who can show me the ropes and help me learn how to be brave and confident. I’m crate trained and working hard on my potty training! I’m currently living in a foster home with other dogs and cats. I do like to chase the kitties, though, so I would do best in a home without cats. I’m also nervous around children and would be happiest in an adult-only home where I can feel comfortable and build my confidence. I’m a little bit of a nervous Nelly right now, but I have so much potential! I’m looking for someone who understands that I may need a little extra time to come out of my shell and is willing to give me the patience, consistency, and love I deserve. Because I’m in a foster home, please contact the shelter before coming to meet me so we can coordinate a visit with my foster family. 🐶💕 Think I might be your girl? Let us know you’re interested!

Hi I'm Gunner! I am a pretty well rounded guy- by this I mean I would love to enjoy all of these activities with my person- running, playing fetch, going on hunting trips and all car rides! I'm looking for someone who will keep me active and on an appropriate diet to keep me healthy. I haven't had the greatest past with other dogs so I would fit well into a home where I am the only guy! If you are looking for a best friend who has a lot of energy to spare- let's get together and see if we click!

Story
Hi, I’m Jerry. I’m a six‑year‑old border collie mix who came in as a stray, so my past is mostly unknown. What I can tell you is that I’m a gentle, sensitive guy who needs a little time to feel safe. I’m definitely on the shy side and not very confident at first. I like to take things slow and get to know people at my own pace. But once I warm up, I’m all in. I turn into a super loving, silly dog who just wants to make you smile. When I see someone I trust, I jump up, zoom around, and do my happy dance. I came in with another male dog, so I may do well with canine friends. We’re not sure how I feel about cats yet. If you’re patient, kind, and willing to let me open up gradually, I’ll reward you with all the joy and sweetness I’ve been saving up. Come meet me — I’d love to show you my zoomies.

Story
🐾 Hi, I’m Stanley! I’m a young doodle dog with a big heart and an even bigger desire to find my forever family. I was found on the side of the road all by myself, and even though no one came looking for me, I haven’t let that stop me from being a sweet, loving guy. I get along great with other dogs and I’m gentle with kids. I’m a nervous‑but‑excited kind of pup — sometimes my nerves get the best of me and I piddle a little, but I’m trying hard to learn the ropes. I’m already working on my basic commands, and I’m super food‑motivated, which makes training fun and easy. I just need someone patient who can help me build confidence and keep teaching me how to be the best boy I know I can be. I’m still figuring out this whole “good dog” thing, but I promise I’m worth the time. I’d make an awesome adventure buddy, and I’m ready to explore the world with someone who sees how special I am. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, eager‑to‑learn companion… come meet me. I think we could be something great. 🐾

Story
Miss Piper is a busy, curious girl who is ready for her first adventure – a home of her own. She loves to explore and, like the intelligent pup that she is, she’s got her nose in everything. She gets along good with dogs and so far, has been respectful of cats in her foster home. Piper is a Great Dane-Weimaraner mix who is showing signs that she’s ready for housetraining and is sleeping through the night. If you know Great Danes and you know Weimaraners then you know that with the best of both breeds, these pups will be fabulous companions. You can expect them to be BIG, loyal, smart, and outgoing people pleasers! Piper’s adoption fee includes her spay, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. Submit an application at www.beartoothhumane.org/adopt, or call/text 406-446-3500 with any questions.
