Meet Joao! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 5/1, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Joao as a great dog who will be a lot of fun for the right family! He'll need an active family who can keep up with him and also who can provide him with structure. Joao is intelligent, but can be stubborn. He is playful and will sometimes respond to sit and down. Joao is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 61 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He is neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Joao in kennel 20; his ID # is 18679. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
