Story
Scarface is a loving Dogo mixed with terrier. Low temperament just needs someone who is available around the clock to care for him. My schedule is very busy I work 6 days a week with two jobs. Since my father’s passing in August it has been harder to care for him by myself and handle personal affairs while working. He has a lot of energy and after walks very calm. Has not been around a lot of kids I have small nieces and nephews so therefore he hasn’t been out to interact with the babies, plus my babies are scared of any animal with more than 2 legs. He would probably do better around kids 12 and up as he thinks he is still a baby himself very playful.

Story
Meet Billie — a gentle 2-year-old sweetheart searching for her forever home! Billie was rescued from an Atlanta shelter at the end of August after spending two long months there, shut down and scared. She originally ended up at the shelter when her owner was evicted and left her behind in a backyard kennel. No one knows how long she was alone before animal control arrived, but what we do know is that Billie is blossoming beautifully now that she’s safe. In her foster home, Billie has quickly shown what a loving, sensitive, and clever girl she truly is. She’s eager to please (especially if treats are involved!) and already knows sit, down, and is working hard on stay. Since she previously lived outdoors, potty training was new to her, but she has learned quickly with the help of doorbells to signal when she needs to go out. Billie is crate-trained for when her foster family is away, but she sleeps soundly at night in her cozy bed next to them. She’s still learning that the world is a safe place; quick movements and loud noises can make her anxious, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to continue helping her build confidence through gentle socialization. Billie is wonderfully dog-friendly, especially with calm, mellow dogs. She shares toys, plays tug, and seems comforted by the companionship of the resident older female dog. Because of this, we believe she would thrive best in a home with another friendly dog to show her the ropes and give her a buddy to cuddle and play with. She has shown no aggression or prey drive toward cats on walks, though she hasn’t been formally cat-tested indoors. She arrived very underweight, but with consistent care and good nutrition, she’s been steadily reaching a healthy size. Billie is a tender, loyal, and resilient girl who just needs a loving family willing to keep helping her grow. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will reward your patience with endless love, Billie might be the perfect match. 💛 Apply to adopt: dcdogos.org/adopt Location: Atlanta, GA

Story
We have had Diesel from a puppy, and he is now 5 years old. He shares our home with a Shitzu and is good around people. He weighs 120 lbs and is good on leash, but can pull if he sees a squirrel. He will need a strong leader to keep him in check as he can be stubborn. He is very loving with his humans and protective of our home, although his bark is definitely bigger than his bite.

Story
Sachi is a super smart 11 mo. old pup looking for her forever home. She has been with me a few months now after being rescued from street living and has easily mastered 12 words & phrases. She loves everyone, takes treats gently & enjoys TV. Sachi is non-aggressive and adores kids and dogs of all sizes. I'm not sure about cats since I don't have any. She's spayed, vaccinated, chipped, & is ready for the perfect forever home! She will come with a 2-week trial period in your home to guarantee a perfect match. I am looking to place her with a younger (than us) family looking for a loyal, highly trainable companion who can give her a long fun filled life. Sachi is hands down the best choice for a loving family dog. If I could give her the life she deserves, she wouldn't be going anywhere!
