Mint got his name because he is cool and chill, and like a breath of fresh air, which is a very accurate description of this fantastic dog!! Mint is probably around 2 years old, and will likely hit 100 pounds while he is with us. He is very tall, and very long, and can put his feet on your shoulders if he decide to. [] He is likely a Dogo Argentino, and is a really special boy! April 13, 2024, 6:42 pm

Story
Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!  In this corner, weighing in at 42 pounds, is Lexie Grace, a Boxer mix. She’s an almost 7-year-old sweetheart who is mellow, potty trained, and somewhat shy.  This girl is looking for a family to shower her with love while she chills on the couch!     Lexie Grace is a little fearful of new things, but she is very lovable.  Lexie Grace enjoys her walks but may need some coaxing as she is easily frightened.  Inside the home, she’s a calm girl who sleeps in her bed at night, which is great because she’s not a fan of the crate.       Like all dogs, she gets the occasional zoomies and shows real personality.  Lexie Grace is not much of a cuddler, and she doesn’t demand you pet her.  She is an independent gal.  And there is no need to fill the toy box; she prefers a soft place to relax much more than toys!        Lexie Grace is a little quirky – she likes to hide under furniture during thunderstorms and fireworks. She gets along with some dogs, but not others.  Lexie Grace needs a low-key and patient family to love her, roll with her quirks, and let her be the independent and lazy dog she likes to be.     Maybe that family is yours?     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. However, we have many wonderful homeless pets available.              April 25, 2024, 5:24 pm

Story
What's not to love about me? I'm cute, petite, a super snuggler and I heard some guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which might explain my high prey drive. I love my 4 legged family members in my foster home, but they should probably not be in a farm setting. Also, no cats or rabbits, please. I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained. What I don't do well is walk on a leash. I would need lots of patience and training. I can act very crazy and unruly while on walks, and even scream a bit because I'm over-excited, so teaching me how to redirect/refocus would be my number one priority. I would rather have a home that has a nice, secure,  tall fence. That way I won't get the crazies.   I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           April 25, 2024, 5:24 pm

Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 8-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online.
