Story
My Name is Santiago I am 2-1/2 years old. I love to play and have many toys which I will bring to you if you come visit. I love to run jump and play with other dogs. I like to walk on a leash and don't pull (unless i see something very interesting and i can help myself) Ha-ha I don't bark at strangers or other dogs. I don't get on the furniture and I go outside to go to the bathroom. I have a personal trainer that comes to visit if needed his name is Cody and he taught me to be respectful of my owners. Tiago is my dog and he is very loving and protective. He was originally my daughters dog and he followed her home from a hiking walk. We adopted Tiago after she had a baby and he has lived with us for a year. We love him but, he needs more room to run and play. you can contact me Stephen Craig at (xxx) xxx-xxxx or Mary Craig at (xxx) xxx-xxxx xxxx@xxxx.x or xxxx@xxxx.x Thanks

Story
This lovely lady is Katrin! She arrived at the shelter alongside her sister/bestie, Annika, on 3/12. They were lost, but no one has shown up to reclaim them. Both girls are now in search of a new, forever home where they will be loved and kept safe so that they never end up back in the shelter. They're shy, but sweet. You can tell they want to be able to trust. If you can offer them patience and kindness we're sure they'll gain confidence in no time! Both girls walk nicely on leash. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet them! Katrin is approximately 2 years old and weighs 58 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Katrin is waiting patiently in run 16; her ID # is 8702. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Jackson is a handsome 7-year-old boy and weighs 80-ish lbs. Because he is a larger love bug who doesn't know his size, he would do best in a home with teenage children. Although Jackson is deaf, he is VERY trainable and has responded well to learning hand signals with his foster mom. He has laser focus whenever his toys or treats are involved. He is very snuggly-and likes to think he's a lap dog, despite his size! Jackson is potty trained, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
