Story
Tiago is 3 years old and loves to play with all his toys balls, fresbees & stuff animals. He likes to take walk and is very courious. He is leash trained and pays attention to commands. He was found by my daughter and husband as a puppy and once they had a baby we adopted him. We now have another grand child and would like to travel more so we are looking for a good loving home. Tiago would be great with a house-hold with older children that he can play with and learn to love. He has a lifetime personal trainer which will come with him during the re-homeing process.

Story
We have had Diesel from a puppy, and he is now 5 years old. He shares our home with a Shitzu and is good around people. He weighs 120 lbs and is good on leash, but can pull if he sees a squirrel. He will need a strong leader to keep him in check as he can be stubborn. He is very loving with his humans and protective of our home, although his bark is definitely bigger than his bite.

This cute Boxer mix is Avery! She ended up at the shelter as a stray on 2/6, and when her people discovered she was there instead of coming to reclaim her they decided to surrender her. They did note that Avery is house-trained and good with children. Avery does prefer to be the queen of the castle, so she would not enjoy the company of other dogs. The volunteers describe Avery as initially a little shy, but she warms up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. She is sweet and loving and knows several commands including sit and lay down. Avery is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 48 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Please come meet Avery in kennel 79; her ID # is 16765. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Peanut is a sweet, affectionate dog just under a year old, according to his veterinarian. He is fully up to date on all vaccinations and has completed a two-week board-and-train program, where he learned several commands. Based on the vets assessment, he mostly likely was tied up somewhere and left for a long period and was most likely abused. Even with that background, nothing can get him down! He is a very happy dog. He is incredibly loving and energetic, and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, children, and the whole family. Because of his energy level, Peanut would thrive in a home with a yard or with someone who can provide at least a couple of walks each day. When he isnot playing, Peanut is very snuggly and loves to be close to his people. He is crate trained, though he does have some sensitivities to wire crates. Peanut will come with all of his belongings, including his leash, collar, e-collar, bowls, bed, and more.
