Mint got his name because he is cool and chill, and like a breath of fresh air, which is a very accurate description of this fantastic dog!! Mint is probably around 2 years old, and will likely hit 100 pounds while he is with us. He is very tall, and very long, and can put his feet on your shoulders if he decide to. [] He is likely a Dogo Argentino, and is a really special boy! April 13, 2024, 6:42 pm

Story
This handsome dude is Deano! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/1, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Deano as friendly, playful, and energetic! He comes off as a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly. This may be due to the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. We're sure when he's in a loving home he'll open up! Deano does sit nicely for treats when asked. If you're looking for a new best friend to join you on hikes, runs, and all of life's adventures then Deano may be your guy! Deano is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 45 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, now neutered, and tested negative for heartworms; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Deano in run 831; his ID # is 653386. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend.
