Story
Jesse is a beautiful 1 year old long hair male cat that is so sweet and gentle. This boy is beautiful, weighing in at 8.0 lbs as of 5/2/25 He is very friendly and would make a great part-time lap cat. He does still like his space from time to time. We think this is because he has grown up in a home with a lot of other cats though, so he doesn’t get as much attention as he wants. We do believe when adopted, he will be a full-time lap cat and cuddler. He does like sitting on cat trees and watching the other cats go about their business. He will also sit on you or next to you if you’re on the couch. He’s a Netflix and chill type of cat. Jesse, oddly enough, loves to eat fruit and would love a home that gave fruit to him for treats. He will sit and stare at you until he gets some in the kitchen. Never have we seen a cat that loves fruit as much as he does. Jesse is such a deserving boy and has grown up with dogs, other cats and older children in the home. He would do wonderful with all of them. He is barely reaching a year old, so he has a lot of life and love to give to his future forever home. Jesse is neutered, current on vaccinations, FIV/FLV negative, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. Lucy is a sweet, long-haired black beauty. She is small and won't get any bigger. She can be held and will lay in your lap but may need a short period of adjustment. She would be best as an only cat or with one other cat. She was born in December 2024. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Meet Coral Reef — The Treasure of the Tides! Once upon a shoreline, a gentle orange beauty named Coral Reef was cast adrift in life’s rough currents — a very pregnant momma left to fend for herself. But the tides turned in her favor when a kind soul scooped her from the storm and gave her a safe harbor. Now 2 years old, Coral has lovingly raised her precious kittens, tending to them like a true queen of the reef. With her motherly duties behind her, it’s time for this rare and radiant girl to find a forever home where she can be the one cherished and adored.Like a pearl tucked in a clam shell, Coral may be a little shy at first. But give her a moment, and you’ll discover a heart as warm and shimmering as a sunlit tide pool. All she dreams of is a cozy lap to call her own, gentle head scratches, and a human to swim through life’s calm waters with.Did we mention how special she is? Female orange cats are a rare find, and Coral’s medium-length, soft, golden fur makes her as breathtaking as a coral reef at sunset. So if you’re searching for a gentle soul, a lap warmer, and a loyal friend from the deep — Coral Reef is waiting to be your very own ocean treasure.Adopt Coral Reef and let the sea’s sweetest secret brighten your world. &#226&#156&#168IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.July 9, 2025, 5:21 am

Story
Watson: This extra-large, fluffy black kitten—possibly a Maine Coon mix—is a gentle giant who starts out shy but quickly transforms into a snuggle-obsessed lovebug. He adores playing with puff balls, wand toys, and wrestling with other kittens, and he gets along well with both cats and cat-friendly dogs after a proper intro. If you are looking for a cuddly companion with a playful streak, this sweet boy is the perfect match. Adoption fee is $150.
