Story
Jesse is a beautiful 1 year old long hair male cat that is so sweet and gentle. This boy is beautiful, weighing in at 8.0 lbs as of 5/2/25 He is very friendly and would make a great part-time lap cat. He does still like his space from time to time. We think this is because he has grown up in a home with a lot of other cats though, so he doesn’t get as much attention as he wants. We do believe when adopted, he will be a full-time lap cat and cuddler. He does like sitting on cat trees and watching the other cats go about their business. He will also sit on you or next to you if you’re on the couch. He’s a Netflix and chill type of cat. Jesse, oddly enough, loves to eat fruit and would love a home that gave fruit to him for treats. He will sit and stare at you until he gets some in the kitchen. Never have we seen a cat that loves fruit as much as he does. Jesse is such a deserving boy and has grown up with dogs, other cats and older children in the home. He would do wonderful with all of them. He is barely reaching a year old, so he has a lot of life and love to give to his future forever home. Jesse is neutered, current on vaccinations, FIV/FLV negative, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. To apply for Jesse please fill out an application on our website at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Story
Meet this handsome 6 ½-year-old male long-haired cat, who was transferred to us from another shelter. He’s a truly beautiful cat with a luxurious coat, but his time in a crate has made him a bit cage-aggressive. We believe he would be much more relaxed and comfortable in a home environment, where he can enjoy attention on his own terms and feel safe.Though he may be wary in his current situation, once he’s settled into a loving home, we’re confident he’ll blossom and show his true affectionate side. He’s looking for a patient, understanding adopter who can offer him the time and space he needs to adjust. If you’re ready to welcome this gorgeous boy into your life and give him the safe, calm environment he deserves, he could be the perfect companion for you! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Story
Yeti is a very special girl with a heart full of love. Estimated to be around 9 years old, she was found matted, dirty, and struggling to survive on the streets last winter. Thankfully, one of our dedicated volunteers was able to rescue her, and Yeti has spent the past 11 months in a foster home, gradually adjusting to life indoors. At first, Yeti was very scared, but even during those early months, she would purr if you sat next to her crate, showing her quiet desire for connection. Now, Yeti has blossomed into a loving house cat, and her transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. She’s discovered her love for being petted, and her purrs are absolutely contagious—she purrs like a maniac when she’s getting the attention she deserves!Yeti does well with other cats but would do best with a companion who matches her chill energy. She’s calm and laid-back, enjoying a quiet, peaceful environment. This sweet girl is now ready to find her forever home, where she can live out her golden years in comfort and love.If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who will show you gratitude and companionship for years to come, Yeti could be the perfect fit for you! She's ready to be showered with all the love she's been waiting for and deserves. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Story
Meet Chuck Norris: The Strong and Handsome SurvivorName: Chuck NorrisAge: 2 yearsBreed: Long Haired Domestic ShorthairColor: Black and WhitePersonality: Strong, Independent, Slowly Trusting, Gentle SoulChuck Norris is a striking 2-year-old black and white long-haired cat with a rugged history. He was once abandoned by his previous owner and spent time outside, fending for himself. Because of his past, Chuck is understandably unsure of people at first, but deep down, he’s a loving and gentle soul who deserves a second chance at a loving home.Personality & Likes:Chuck is a bit reserved and will need some time to adjust to his new environment. He’s still learning to trust humans, but once he bonds with you, you’ll find that he is a loyal and affectionate companion. Though he’s initially unsure, his curiosity and gentle nature will slowly shine through as he feels safe and secure.Chuck is a survivor with a lot of resilience, and he’s not the kind of cat who rushes into things. He’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and loved. What Chuck Norris Needs:A quiet, patient home where he can feel safe and secureTime and space to gain confidence and trust againA family who understands that he may need some extra time to adjust and come out of his shellSomeone who will be gentle and allow Chuck to approach on his own termsA comfy spot to relax and feel at homeChuck Norris may not be the most outgoing cat right away, but with your patience, understanding, and love, he’ll grow into a sweet and devoted companion. If you're looking for a cat who has overcome so much and is ready to build a bond with someone who truly cares, Chuck Norris might be the perfect match for you! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Story
Orion is a high-energy guy with a big personality and even bigger zoomies! He thrives in a space where he can run, play, and burn off that playful energy throughout the day. While Orion loves attention, it’s always on his terms—he’ll let you know when he’s ready for love. It’s important to pay attention to his signals and respect his boundaries. He isn’t a big fan of being picked up often, but he’ll happily hang out nearby or come to you when he’s in the mood. Orion needs a home with plenty of scratchers, stimulating toys, and room to explore. If you’re looking for a fun, independent companion who keeps life exciting, Orion might just be your perfect match! Adoption fee $400
