Story
I have two elderly cats that need a new home. My mother-in-law is in a nursing home after having a sever stroke. I cannot take anymore pets as they are not allowed in my apartment. My husband and I have been taking care of these cats for two months. We cannot continue to care for these cats because mother-in-law won't be coming back home. Smokey is a grey male cat that is an outside cat. Charcoal is a pure black cat with a white mark on her neck. Charcoal is a lap cat and prefers to be in the house. They are old cats, about 11 years old. Please help if you know anyone who can give them a new safe home. They are both spayed, have their immunizations up to date and ae very loving. We actually acquired our pets through Daiken animal shelter when my daughter was just 8 years old. I am looking for a new home for these two loving animals. They are healthy and loving. Smokey is a grey male who like to be outside during the day. Charcoal like to be inside and is more of a lap cat.

Urgent Home Needed !!! Sweeties and her Brother Louie Sweeties is a fluffy and beautiful kitty. She loves to play and be held while being stroked, but does not like to be alone. She like to always be near her brother They were born in March and still very close to their mamma. They get along well with other kitties and would enjoy staying together They have been spayed and neutered, microchipped with all shots I feel they would do best indoors only until they are more mature They have been raised on a healthy grain free and small animal diet with top quality food I am moving to Iowa to start an advanced degree and only allowed two kitties in my new home. I have ten now and must rehome as soon as possible Adoption fee is negotiable

Story
Churchill is a sweet 8 year old cat. He is a bit reserved, but we believe he would open up in a home! He loves to play with his feather toys and will even let his favorite volunteers give him head scratches. He is a big fan of squeezy treats, but hasn't figured out where the snacks come from, so we have to squeeze them into his bowl for him. He's a silly guy with an expressive face, and a sweet personality. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quicker consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.Appointments are made after applications are submitted and approved. Please do not call; email is the best way to reach the shelter. Please understand that the cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or aggressive at the time please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CCC has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age, are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we are unable to place cats or kittens on hold. Your appointment is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers to assist with animal care. Fill out an application at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
