Story
Branch is 7 years old and craves attention that my household is unable to give him. We ended up with a service dog and he attacks our service dog. We hoped over time he would adjust and over a yr later he has not so we have to keep him separated which also keeps him from receiving much of our time. He does have a sister named poppy we are willing to give the pair to keep them together. She is an absolute sweetheart. Always been great with children. He is a healthy cat and loves when I accidentally leave the bag of treats out. He also finds the bathroom sink and the tub one of his favorite places to sleep.

Story
We do not have any history on this kitten's previous life or experiences. Since they are so young, they would likely do well in any type of home. They should be introduced slowly to any resident animals in your house. Check out the video (above, with the pictures) for top tips on how to bring a kitten like this home with you and integrate them into your home! If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! Story
Meet Fido, the cat with the name of a dog but all the charm of a feline! This stunning senior girl has beautiful long hair and eyes that will mesmerize you. She's as sweet as they come, with a goofy side that will keep you smiling. Fido adores lounging in her favorite spot-a cat tree by the window-where she can bask in the sun and keep an eye on the world outside. Her gentle temperament makes her a joy to be around, and she's ready to bring warmth and laughter to her next home. Could this sweet, fluffy lady be the purrfect companion for you? Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Story
I am not as tough as I look. My helpers call me powderpuff. I was abandoned when somebody moved. I slept on the porch for a few weeks and was becoming dirty and fearful. People brought me inside to keep me safe. I was supposed to go right into the shelter but that particular shelter was pretty full and ran into a situation where somebody dropped off around 15 cats with birth defects. So the humans named me Zeus and I tried to fit in. Unfortunately I upset the balance in the house and the two boys began acting up, fighting with the other cats. Really not my problem. I am a friendly cat, gets along with other cats and I do speak my mind. One night I scratched out the screen and escaped. I waited on the porch and the people found me. I am young and trying to play with the youngest (1 yr) kittens. I have picked a person and follow her when she is home. 100% of the adoption fee will go to the shelter.

Story
Milk is a handsome 10-year-old sweet boy. Sadly his owner had to move into a place that does not allow pets. He did live with someone who had a cat, but that cat was mean to him, so Milke mostly hid. With the right introductions, he should be good! He is a wonderful companion who is looking to settle down and not have to move again. Do you have room in your home and heart for this grumpy faced cat who is a sweetie at heart? This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
