Adoption Fee Sponsored Foster OR adopter needed Hello, my name is Sunshine, and I'm a 9-year-old good-looking gal. I love people and am very affectionate, and I enjoy relaxing and watching the birds through the windows. I am not fond of other pets because I want to be the center of attention, so I would need to be the only pet. I would also do best in a home without young children. I am on medicine for my Hyperthyroidism, but I am very well behaved if you provide some tasty treats. Let me brighten up your day and come visit me!  July 5, 2025, 9:59 am

Story
ABOUT DOMINO Domino is a gorgeous 5-year-old black and white kitty who came to HAP after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s a delightful mix of sweet and sassy, think “sweet and sour,” but in the most charming feline way! At first, Domino may be a little shy or play it cool, but once she gets to know you, she reveals her affectionate, cuddly side. Just remember, this queen knows her worth and isn’t afraid to set a royal boundary or two. Domino is also quite the chatterbox! She has an impressive range of meows to share her thoughts, whether she’s asking for treats or simply narrating her day. She loves making biscuits, playing with her favorite feather toys, and lounging like the regal kitty she is. Domino would thrive in a calm home with older children who can respect her pace and give her space when she needs it. She’s ready to bring love, laughter, and a touch of cat-titude to a family who will give her the cozy kingdom she deserves! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Toaster's adoption status with email updates.

Story
ABOUT TOASTER! Meet Toaster, one of our adorable project cats! Our project cats are kitties who will need a little extra TLC to really blossom into the pampered pets they've always wanted to be! Toaster is a very beautiful boy, and he knows it, so sometimes he comes across as a little....demanding. He just wants what he wants, and he isn't afraid to ask for it! The quickest way to his heart is through his stomach, so treats are a must! He enjoys playing a little with a human friend or a kitty friend, but he is mostly a foodie boy. *Toaster gets along very well with other cats, and would likely do well with a confident kitty in the home. We don't recommend dogs or children. *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
Willow (FCID 12/01/2025 - 3) is a four-month old long-haired kitten who is likely part Maine Coon.  She is a petite, wide&#226&#128&#145eyed kitten who’s still figuring out that humans can be friends. She’s cautious at first and will need a gentle home where she can build confidence at her own pace. But even now, her curiosity and sweetness peek through. Willow enjoys chasing toys - especially balls and mice - and exploring cozy hiding spots, and once she realizes she’s safe, she’ll allow gentle pets, rewarding you with loud purrs that show she wants connection, even if she’s not sure how to ask for it yet.   She will blossom in a calm, patient environment where her adopter understands that trust isn’t instant. With reassurance, routine, and kindness, Willow will grow from a nervous kitten into a loyal, loving companion. Willow is very fond of her foster brother and best friend Onyx (FCID# 12/23/2025 - 4), and she would be very happy to find her forever home with him.  She has briefly met other cats in her foster home and is very curious about them, never fearful.  She has not met dogs in her foster home. Willow and Onyx are asking that you please ask about them.  They are playing in our Christiana PetSmart adoption center. Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Megan G.)February 6, 2026, 7:32 am
