Story
William is a handsome domestic long hair with a soft, luxurious coat that just begs for gentle brushing — which he needs regularly to keep him mat-free and looking his best!A bit shy when first meeting new people, William does best in a calm and patient environment where he can take his time to settle in. Once he’s comfortable, he shows his sweet and gentle nature.William has previously lived with other cats and could do well with feline companions who respect his space. We’re not sure how he feels about dogs, so a slow introduction (or a dog-free home) might be best. For families, we recommend children aged 8 and up who understand how to interact respectfully with shy cats and can be supervised during early interactions. If you`re looking for a quiet, loving cat to share your home (and maybe your lap), William might be the perfect match! If you are interested in meeting William or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee is $50

Story
Chex is a soft and sweet boy with a luxurious long coat and a gentle soul. At 3 years old, he’s past the kitten stage but still has plenty of playful curiosity. With his front paws declawed, Chex will need to be an indoor-only cat to keep him safe and comfortable.Chex can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and a quiet space to settle in, his affectionate and calm nature shines through. He especially enjoys lounging in sunny spots and being brushed—regular grooming is a must to keep his beautiful coat mat-free and healthy.Chex has lived with other cats and could be a great feline companion. He hasn’t had much experience with dogs, so a slow introduction or a dog-free home may be best. Due to his timid nature, we recommend a home with respectful children ages 10 and up.If you`re looking for a gentle, low-key companion with a lot of love to give, Chex might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see if your home is the cozy place he’s been waiting for!If you are interested in meeting Chex or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee is $50

Story
Crystal is a beautiful, soft-hearted girl with a gentle soul. At just three years old, she`s already had a big change in her life and is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe and loved.Shy by nature, Crystal takes time to warm up to new people and environments. She came to us with her brother, Chex, who provides her with comfort and confidence. Because of their close bond, we’d love to see them adopted together—but if that’s not possible, Crystal will need a home where she’ll be given the time and space to settle in at her own pace.Crystal has been front paw declawed, so she’ll need to be an indoor-only cat. Her gorgeous long coat also requires regular brushing to keep it free of mats and tangles—she may be shy, but once she trusts you, grooming time can become a soothing bonding activity.Crystal would do best in a calm, quiet home with older children (10+) who understand how to approach a timid cat gently. With love, patience, and maybe her brother by her side, Crystal will bloom into a devoted and loving companion.Could your home be the one where Crystal finally feels safe enough to shine? If you are interested in adopting Crystal or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee is $50

Story
Bubba & Bistro are best buds. They came from a multi-cat home where someone passed away. During the rescue process they always followed us around showing concern for where their friends were going. Bubba & Bisto were rescued separately a couple weeks apart and during the time apart, they each were sad and lonely. When we were able to reunite them into the same foster home, their happiness to see each other confirmed their bond and strong pairing. They are 2 peas in a pod that love snuggling together. They are extra gentle and loving, friendly, and trusting. They love people and greet you with joy. They follow you around, come to you for petting, love to be pet and scratched. Bubba looks up at you with adoring eyes, while Bisto licks your hand to give you a kiss and thank you for your attention. They are loyal, sensitive and empathetic types that will make great companions for someone. Their personalities are mellow, laid-back, quiet but not shy, well-mannered. They will make great buddies for someone who likes to chill and hang out. Bubba is the handsome black & white shorthair, a bundle of love. The brown cat is Bistro, a magnificent longhair, possibly a Mainecoon/Norwegian Forest. They are both fixed and fully vetted. About 5 years old.

Story
Maxx Long Hair Brown Tabby Neutered Male Estimated Birthday: 10/1/2024 My name is Maxx and as you can see, I am a very handsome boy! I am an aspiring model and I do not take a bad picture. I am an indoor cat, but I love spending time in my foster family's catio. It has better lighting for my portfolio pictures! I have a BIG personality and I love attention. I am great with small children, other cats and rabbits. I have been exposed to dogs and am curious about them. My favorite color is green and I love to play fetch. If you would like to be the manager of my modeling career and my forever home, you can have your people contact my people to make this happen! I also enjoy spending time with my brother Blizz even though he is not top model material, I would love to find a home with him. Maxx is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125, or $200 as a pair with Blizz. Fill out our online application to get approved for a meet and greet: http://www.tigerlilyrescue.com/adoption-application/
