You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PURRS ABOUND SIAMESE RESCUE OF MICHIGAN,INC.9/25/2023 URGENT NEED HELP Warren MI Senior Special Needs Pair Looking for an Angel   Please meet Tom and his buddy, Bear. These senior boys are in need of a home together as their human Mom can no longer care for them due to severe health problems. Both boys are described as affectionate and loving.   Little Tom, the gray and white boy, has anxiety has a heart murmur. His anxiety is worsened due to the health issues and frequent hospitalizations of his owner and being left alone.   The long haired boy is a Maine Coon Wannabe named Bear who lives up to his name of being big and cuddly. He absolutely loves to be brushed and loves treats. Bear, however, is FIV+ although, at an estimated 14.5 years of age, his FIV status has never been an issue and his mild manner means he is NOT going to be aggressive with other cats in a home.   These senior friendly boys needs a new family ASAP. Their ideal home will not have children under the age of 10 or dogs. They are both fine with other cats.   These cats are not fosters of Purrs Abound as we have no available foster home and time is of the essence. We are sharing their need in the hopes of finding an adopter, another Rescue available to help them or a family who would like to apply to foster them through Purrs Abound. If you are interested in adopting or fostering these boys for Purrs Abound or a rescue that can offer help please message Purrs Abound Siamese Rescue of Michigan, Inc. Otherwise, please share this post!!! Together, we can find these boys a loving home or foster family.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 25, 2023, 4:25 pm

Story
We’ve had our little Dilly & Bob since they were about 3 months, they turned 3 this year. Dilly’s a healthy and active cat, weighs about 11 pounds. He’s extra skittish with loud noises, loves to sniff and lay on shoes. Bob’s also healthy and active love running to race up the stairs, she’s about 9 pounds. Both are curious cats and loves to investigate new smells. Truly they’re the nicest cats ever, love rubs and snuggles. They would be great with other cats (may take a few days to adjust) and families. I’m seeking to rehome both together, due to our upcoming move and current work schedules. For some reason I could not figure out how to make a profile for each cat, but hopefully whoever is willing to open their home can take and love both of my Babies. We will be moving in January 2024, seeking to rehome them by December.

We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Story
These 2 cats are brothers who need to stay together. They are very sweet-natured, quiet and easy-going. They like to play quietly with their toys. They also love to get their "rubbing", which is when I rub their fur all over while they roll from side to side. They love it! They are really no trouble, just great, frieindly cats who have learned to want attention quietly. They are both neutered and have all their shots, tests, etc. They would probably be best in a relatively quiet home with older kids. If interested, please go to our website: catconnection.org and fill out the application and send it back.
