Story
Location: Eagan, MN He loves being around people. When he wants attention, he will follow me around the room rubbing against my legs or putting his paws on my legs when he is sitting. He is the typical curious cat and loves to explore. He loves to jump up on things: chairs, bathroom sink, beds. When he hears unexpected noises, he will look at me for assurance that everything is OK. He tolerates being held and will even let me hold him like a baby and rub his belly. He has been perfect with using the litter box. He has been slowly introduced to our two dogs (black lab mixes, so quite a bit larger than him). At first he would hiss at them. Now he just looks at them. No hissing or trying run away. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Odin is a sweet and gentle boy seeking a peaceful home environment characterized by love and stability. Due to his shy nature, he requires a patient adopter who can provide time for him to be comfortable. As he settles in, he develops a fondness for combing sessions, head and chin scratches, and accepts treats delicately like a lab. His enthusiasm for feather toys is eclipsed by his obsession with sparkly soft balls, which he carries and maneuvers in his own soccer game. Odin is being fostered with his sister, Frigga. He would love to go to a home with her! Do you have the capacity to dedicate time and affection to foster his growth into his best self, resulting in gratitude? Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2317563##

Hi. My name is Sweetie. I am a nice easy-going gal who would love a home where I can enjoy some beautiful sunshine, maybe a good movie, yummy treats, and love. A quieter home would be ideal for me because I’ve never really lived around a lot of commotion. I do take a little time to warm up to new people, but if you have the treats, I like, I will be your best friend in no time. If you’d like to learn more about me, visit our website and fill out an adoption application, and my people will be in touch! www.fureverhomerescue.com

Story
Hi! My name is Ava and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Ava (Flora as we call her) is a young mama cat who is laid back. She is content hanging out on her own, sometimes near you sometimes not and when she wants some pets she comes and finds you and rubs against you. Ava sometimes communicates but we have not figured out why. There is no pattern. She does like more pets then normal after we are away for the day. She is very good about using her litter but does not like to bury it after she goes.

Story
Hello my name is Mika, I’m from Minnesota! From her foster: Mika is a true companion. It took her a few days to feel comfortable coming out and about, but has grown so much confidence already. She loves getting pet, butt scratches, and being brushed. Mika often will follow me around and use her voice to ask for more attention. She loves to play with toys. You can hardly tell from her personality that she’s an older lady, but has conveniently grown out of the need to knock things over/eat plants, and has been very unobtrusive in that way. Her front paws are declawed, she is great at using her litter box. Mika is so fun and sweet! From the Vet: Mika is a very sweet senior gal, and overall is looking very healthy and ready for a forever home! Her bloodwork didn't indicate any issues. The only abnormality on her lab work showed that she has lower urine specific gravity meaning that she isn't concentrating urine appropriately. She should be monitored to make sure she is drinking water and/or given some wet food in her diet. Her future adopter should set up regular annual visits with a primary care vet to monitor kidney function. As she ages there may be some changes that indicate a need for a kidney specific diet or other care, but for now no special care is needed, just a special home for a special cat!
