Story
Hi, I'm Rupert. I'm from Minnesota. From the foster: Rupert is bold, affectionate and confident. He acclimates quickly to new places, he is a litterbox pro, and he is not timid or shy. He will introduce himself to all visitors, and especially loves to get close, and cuddle. He is recovering from dermatitis, and as a result does not love to be pet so much. It is better to let Rupert come to you. He likes to eat, and has been known to clean plates if left unattended ;). He does not like the vacuum cleaner, and gets spooked by strange sounds. He would do well with respectful children, however he does not like to be grabbed, and will let you know by using his mouth. He seems to have a sensitive stomach and sensitive skin. His ideal forever home would help him discover his environmental/food irritants so that he can avoid triggers, and relieve stress/ discomfort. Medical Bio: Hi! I'm Rupert, I came to TBB with a few medical concerns we needed to address. I had a grade 3/6 heart murmur and some concerns for my skin and coat health. The skin issues mainly related to previous dermatitis that is healing and some chin acne however no follow up should be needed if these conditions are stable. Shallow stainless steel or ceramic dishes will be best for me to eat from. An echocardiogram was pursued with a cardiology specialist who diagnosed the condition that causes the murmur as hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. This means that the valves in the left atrium of my heart are functioning abnormally, however the size of my heart muscle is not enlarged at this time which is good news. I will be starting on heart medication and rechecks echocardiograms are recommended every 6 months at this time, but my future family should consult a primary care vet for future recommendations on any follow up care needed. Medications and additional rechecks beyond adoption will be the responsibility of my new purrever family! I can't wait to meet you!"

Story
Hi, my name is Fortnight. I am from Minnesota. From his foster: Fortnight has fully come into his own. From his hoarding home he was incredibly shy and reclusive. Yet always has had a sweet demeanor and enjoyed being pet. Now he is super playful, curious, active and loves to be pet. He has the cutest little meow and just really wants attention. It might take him a bit of transition time but he will be in your face, legs and lap wanting tummy rubs and back rubs and head scratches in no time. I'd really love for him to find his forever home - a place where he has space for retreat as he pleases but has lots of opportunity to love and be loved. With 2 geriatric dogs who love to be in all his business it's hard to get the attention he desires at the foster home. He likes a healthy dose of calm and alone time and will still hide when frightened. Slow introduction to family life will be important. He will make a great companion.

Story
Hi! I'm Ironic., Iro for short! I'm from Minnesota. I am a very very shy little guy. When my foster parents come into my room I like to go to my safe spot in my cat tree. When I am in there though I do like to get pets! I can purr sooooo loud after awhile my cat tree almost shakes! I will take awhile to warm up to who ever adopts me, but if you have enough patience I could be a great addition to your house. My foster mom think I have the cutest little squeak of a meow, I sound more like a mouse! She also thinks that my paws are so fluffy and adorable! From his foster: Because Ironic is so shy and timid, he would do best in a house with no small children or dogs. Currently he is in a room by himself and his foster family does not know yet if he would get along with the resident cats.
