Meet Sweetie – A Calm and Loving Companion Hi, I’m Sweetie! I’m a gentle, easy-going gal who dreams of a peaceful home filled with sunshine, cozy movie nights, tasty treats, and plenty of love. I’d thrive best in a quiet environment since I’m not used to lots of noise or commotion. I might take a little time to warm up to new people, but if you have my favorite treats, I’ll quickly become your loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet kitty to share your quiet moments with, I’d love to meet you! If you’d like to learn more about me, visit our website and fill out an adoption application, and my people will be in touch! www.fureverhomerescue.com

Story
Location: Meet me at Eagan PetSmart! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Cletus is a quirky, independent guy who marches to the beat of his own (mostly nighttime) drum. By day, he’s a professional napper who loves curling up on a folded blanket at the end of the bed or claiming his favorite chair in the living room. By night? That’s when Cletus clocks in for playtime. He loves feather toys and truly enjoys interactive play. When he’s feeling especially playful, he can get adorably enthusiastic and enjoys games that let him use his paws and practice his hunting skills. He’ll also happily remind you when it’s time to play—or eat—making him a fun companion for someone who enjoys a cat with personality and opinions. While he isn’t overly energetic, Cletus appreciates engagement and enrichment on his own schedule. Cletus values his independence and will do best in a home that allows him time to settle in and feel secure. Once comfortable, he enjoys being near his people and sharing space, even if he prefers to relax on his own terms. Cletus requires prescription soft cat food to support his urinary health and will need to stay on this diet long-term. He has done very well on this food and has had no ongoing issues. Cletus was found as a stray.

Story
Meet Phoebe Buffay — a quirky little beauty with a look all her own! At 3 years old, this petite, long-haired sweetheart turns heads with her striking mismatched eyes — one shimmering gold and one warm brown. Her round face gives her an almost permanently grumpy expression, but don’t be fooled… behind that serious look is a soft, purring cuddlebug. Phoebe absolutely melts when she’s receiving attention. Gentle pets and kind words will have her rumbling with happy purrs in no time. She’s said to do well with kids, especially those who understand how to be calm and respectful with a sensitive girl. Like many divas with fabulous long coats, Phoebe will need regular brushing to keep her fur silky and free of mats. Think of it as spa time — a little bonding ritual to help her look and feel her best. Phoebe prefers to be the only feline star of the show, as she’s not a fan of other cats. She also appreciates having cozy hidey spots where she can retreat and feel safe when the world feels overwhelming. A home that offers both affection and quiet nooks will be perfect for her. If you’re looking for a petite princess with a unique look, a big purr, and a personality that’s equal parts cautious and charming, Phoebe Buffay is ready to steal your heart. 💛

Story
*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Hello, I’m Ellie. Before we go any further, we should address the obvious: Yes, I look like I’m judging you. Yes, I look mildly disappointed. But I promise — it’s just my face. Because underneath this permanently grumpy expression is a sweet, gentle, mellow old lady who lives for lap time and affection. I absolutely love being pet, and once you start, I’ll purr like a little motor, rub all over you, and climb right into your lap as if I pay rent there. I’d prefer to be the only cat in the home (I like to be the center of attention — I’ve earned that), but I don’t mind respectful dogs who understand that I am a senior woman of distinction. Now, I do have diabetes, which means I come with a tiny bit of extra maintenance — think of me as a luxury model. I’m managed with insulin and a low-carb wet food diet, and I’m very brave and polite for my quick little pokes. My foster mom can teach you everything, and honestly? I’m worth it. I also have long fur that can get a bit tangled, so I’ll need someone willing to help me stay comfy and fabulous… because even with this face, I do have standards. So if you’re looking for a cat who looks like she’s filing a complaint with customer service… but actually just wants to snuggle in your lap and be adored for the rest of her golden years, I’m your girl. Will you be my forever human? Love, Ellie (Chief Executive of Judgment, Professional Lap Cat) Ellie is an owner surrender.

Story
Meet Olive! Olive is a playful young girl who hates being alone. If you're in the kitchen, she's in the kitchen. Want to go outside? She'll gladly join you! If you're looking for a cat to attach to your hip, Olive is your gal! Olive has spent time around other cats, dogs, and children and did very well! She would likely prefer living with another playful kitty to romp around with! Even though she has had no problems in the past, slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended. Ask a TCHS staff member for more information. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
