Story
Cosette is a mature lady (approximately 8–10 years old) who embodies everything wonderful about a truly loved housecat. After spending time in foster care recovering from an infected anal gland and some irritation to her bottom, she’s feeling so much better—and her sweet personality has been shining brighter every day. Cosette adores being brushed. Regular grooming has become a bonding ritual she truly enjoys. While her coat still has that classic “older kitty” texture—sometimes a little separated or tousled—it now feels clean, soft, and comfortable instead of oily, and she clearly feels better in her own skin. This girl is all about companionship. Cosette loves company and wants to be near her people as much as possible—sitting close by, hopping into laps once she’s settled, and quietly keeping you company throughout the day. She very clearly was someone’s cherished cat in the past and is used to living life right at your side. At night, Cosette insists on sleeping with you—and she’s an absolute dream about it. She chooses her spot on the bed, stays there peacefully, and won’t disturb your sleep. She comes and goes for litter breaks (now confidently navigating two flights of stairs for some bonus exercise!) and settles back in just as gently. Cosette looks for her person, calls out to check where you are, and will announce herself with the cutest little meow, waiting for a reply before trotting over to be close to you. While you work, she’ll visit your home office, standing on her hind legs to reach for attention, or stretching her paws out mid-pet to politely—but persistently—ask for more love. She is incredibly personable, affectionate, and emotionally connected—a cat who forms deep bonds and simply wants to be loved in return. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will share every part of your day and fill your home with quiet affection, Cosette is ready to take her place right beside you. Meet her at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek. *Please note: we only adopt within Ontario

Story
📄 RIVER — Professional Introvert (Feline) Birthday: ~March 17, 2021 Star Sign: Pisces 🐟 (Will absolutely “swim away” when overwhelmed) Credentials: Neutered • Vaccinated • Microchipped • Low-Drama Icon 🐾 Objective Seeking a quiet forever home where my hobbies—staring out windows, light zoomies, and avoiding chaos—are fully appreciated. ✨ Qualifications Doesn’t do “cat stuff.” Zero interest in curtain climbing, counter surfing, shelf yeeting, or midnight parkour. Expert Rumble-Purrer. Engine sounds comparable to a semi-truck idling. Master of Cleanliness. Immaculate litter habits. Would make Marie Kondo proud. Low-Key Zoomer. Zoomies come in “gentle mode” only. Best enjoyed with a tray-ball toy. Window Enthusiast. Can watch birds, neighbors, and leaves for hours. Will not file reports. Affection Style: “I sit near you because I love you.” Touch optional. Proximity guaranteed. 😬 Areas for Growth (Please Don’t Rush Me) Startles if you blink too loudly. Still suspicious of hands, sudden movements, flirt sticks, and TVs that move. Accepts pets only on the shoulders… and only if you’re cool about it. Head pets? That’s a no from me, dawg. Overstimulates faster than a toddler in a candy store. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Social Experience Has shared territory with another cat (Krissy): Phase 1: “Absolutely not.” Phase 2: “Mildly offended.” Phase 3: “Fine, I guess we can nap near each other.” Dogs? Unknown. Humans? He’ll tolerate your presence… eventually even enjoy it. 🏡 Ideal Home Quiet Patient Not sponsored by Chaos™ Comes with a window shelf and respect for personal boundaries 🌟 Special Skills Rolling onto his back and looking extremely adoptable Watching you cuddle other cats as he tries to decode the concept Being adorable without trying Pisces-level emotional depth 📬 Hire River Today He’s not your typical clingy lap cat — he’s your introverted coworker who eventually warms up and becomes the funniest person in the office… once you earn his trust.

Story
Cinnamon, spice, and everything nice—that’s our handsome gingerbread boy, Cinnamon. Surrendered due to some unfortunate circumstances, this sweet boy is enjoying life in his foster home. Love and patience are allowing Cinnamon to blossom into the cat he is meant to be.ABOUT CINAMMON- In foster- Cinnamon’s foster parents describe him as “a gentle soul who just wants love.”- He enjoys human company and is eager to check out anyone who visits the home. - Cinnamon enjoys pets under his ears and chin, and he likes to be kissed on the head. How sweet is that? - He allows brushing all over his body, except his stomach, all while enjoying a Churu treat. Gotta keep his gorgeous coat in tip-top condition, especially his stunning tail!- Cinnamon has the softest little meow and can get a good purr going to show he is happy.- He greets his foster mom in the morning, says hello with his trademark meow, asks for a quick pick-up and cuddle, and then he will settle on the back of her chair while she enjoys her coffee. What a wonderful way to start your morning! - Cinnamon has early stage kidney disease that is managed with a prescription diet. - He has a heart murmur that will need to be monitored with regular vet visits and an annual ultrasound.-Cinnamon is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on core vaccinations.CINNAMON’S IDEAL HOME- Given his quiet nature, he will likely do best in a home with no young children. - Cinnamon would love to be your one and only feline pal so that he can enjoy all your attention.- Someone who is home more often than not would be an ideal fit for this sweetheart.Could you be the one to open up your heart and home to Cinnamon? He deserves to be loved and cherished once again. Cinnamon will be sure to share everything nice, and even a touch of spice. Apply to adopt Cinnamon today!
