Story
Approx DOB: August 2022 Tucker (ID#23086) is a happy-go-lucky boy who, although not technically a kitten anymore, is definitely a kitten at heart. He quickly took on the "big brother" role to all the foster kittens in his foster home. Found on a farm with his fur so matted it had to be cut off, you couldn't even tell he was a long hair cat, has now become the most beautiful long hair boy. He is personality plus plus plus! Tucker is a super social, friendly and fun-loving guy who loves every person he meets, every cat he has met, and even dogs too. He is always up for some laser tag, loves jingly balls or any balls he can bat around really, and bird watching. He is quite the bird aficionado, sometimes so much so, that he thinks he should be outside with them, despite the fact that his mom tells him he does not belong outside anymore. His ideal home would have a sunporch where Tucker can feel like he is outside while remaining in all the comforts of the inside. He has this friend in his foster home, his name is Maurice. Maurice's siblings were both adopted in November and Tucker took Maurice under his very fluffy wings. They are often found chasing each other or cuddling together and would love to be adopted together. This boy really is the whole personality package! All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Story
Birthday: August 4, 2023 Sterling Jack is as strong as sterling silver and just as precious!  He was first spotted in a development in the Lancaster area.  He was a sneaky one, as it took a while to trap him for rescue!  After a few months, someone managed to snag the little rascal and sought out medical attention.  The poor guy's eyes were in rough shape, and no one knew if he would be able to see again.  Unfortunately, his left eye was too far gone to be saved, and it was removed.  His right eye was fortunately salvageable, but it wasn't in the best of shape.  Sterling Jack can see out of it, but he still suffers from partial blindness.   After his surgery, Sterling Jack was moved to a foster home to recover and learn how to socialize.  One can only imagine how scared and unsure this little guy must have been when he first arrived.  Thankfully, it didn't take him long to learn that he had no reason to fear!  His foster parents knew that you needed to take it slow with him because of his limited eyesight, and it was the key to earning his trust.  He still hopes that his future family will continue this habit since it can be incredibly jarring to see something you didn't know was there!  We think that he will do wonders in a home with no small children who might be more inclined to do this as well as dogs. What about other cats?  Well, we are happy to report that Sterling Jack gets along with other kitty cats just fine!  It seems he understands how they operate, so he's able to ascertain their movements and behaviors a little easier!   What about his personality?  Well, we propose another question to you!  Have you ever had a sugar bun?  Because that's what this boy is!  This long haired poof of a man is absolutely one of the sweetest kitties you'd ever meet!  He'll sit with you on the couch and take the time to have a one-on-one snuggle session with you!  Though he has a handicap, that doesn't stop him from having a bit of fun!  Playtime is always a good time with this handsome devil! Sterling Jack's adoption donation is $175 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. If you would like more information on Sterling Jack, please contact Denette at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplicationonline.html Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.  If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html April 16, 2024, 12:03 am

Story
Hello! Loki is 8 years old, I rescued him as a kitten. He is the most cuddly, affectionate cat I have ever had. He loves to snuggle, and carry toys around in his mouth. He loves watching birds out of the window, and lounging in the sun. (What cat doesn’t!) Unfortunately, in October he developed diabetes. He requires a shot of insulin once a day. As well as a special diet of prescription food. Sadly, I can no longer provide the stability and support for him that he needs. With the career I have, I do not have a reliable schedule, and that is what Loki needs! I know he will thrive under the right conditions. Please consider bringing him into your home.

Story
Prince came in with Cher and they both came in from a hoarding case where there was 25 cats and five dogs staying in a motel room. Although I wouldn't say that they're necessarily completely bonded I do feel that they would do better together. Prince can be a little shy to begin with but is an extreme love bug and will cuddle with anybody that's laid back. He's very pretty boy he likes to be the center of attention.
