Story
Meet Charlie! Charlie and his best friend Adele come to 4Paws from a partner rescue in Tennessee. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Charlie is as floofy as he is cuddly. Charlie, the more extroverted confident kitty, enjoys being pet, held, and will sometimes roll over for a…BELLY RUB! All that fluffiness will require some extra help from his new human to keep it knot free and bright. Luckily, Charlie loves to be brushed and combed out. In their foster home they got canned Fancy Feast twice daily and had all-day access to a high-quality chicken-based kibble. Adele can be finicky about the canned food; it's not unusual that she will initially act not too interested in it, but then after a bit she will realize it's pretty good and will eat it, though somewhat slowly. On the other hand, her friend Charlie will dive right in.

Story
Meet Reggie, a young male orange cat with a warm personality and a hopeful heart. Reggie came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery—but what we do know is that he’s a friendly, easygoing dude who enjoys people and is ready for a fresh start. Reggie is looking for a loving family where he can finally settle in, feel safe and secure, and begin his next chapter surrounded by care and kindness. With his sweet nature and classic orange-cat charm, he’s sure to make a wonderful companion. If you’re ready to offer a welcoming home and help this handsome boy write a happy new story, Reggie is ready to meet you. Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt

Story
How gorgeous are these guys?? And they come with bonus toes, just like their mama! These cuties were rescued with their mama and five bottle baby kittens. From the very beginning, they were protective of the babies in their care, putting the needs of the kittens before their own. Now that everybody is grown, these guys are showing their true personalities. Travie is quiet for a kitten. She prefers to watch what's going on around her. She loves hanging with her brother Jason and her mama. As she grows, her fur gets a sort of mad scientist craziness. Don't let that deter you - Travie is SO sweet and ready for someone to show her a lifetime of love. Jason is the biggest and boldest of the pair. He will come charging into watch the action and has no problems setting boundaries with the resident dogs. Jason and Travie would love to go to a home together, preferably with no dogs. They are not fans of the chaos dogs bring. Questions About this Animal? Please email hart90office@gmail.com View My Profile: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HRT-A-407

Story
This beautiful girl has made the long journey from the streets of Oman to find her forever home. She is sweet and loves to play with her catnip toys, but may need her own space at times to just relax and have her beauty admired. You may say she is a little bit of a princess, because she does expect to get a Churu every night before bed and will come running when she hears the package. She enjoys being brushed and also an occasional belly rub. Questions About this Animal? Please email hart90office@gmail.com View My Profile: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HRT-A-430
