Lola is almost 3 years old. She is a rescue that was in an abusive relationship with her previous owner. She is going to be distant for a while but once she gets used to you she is one of the most loving cats youll have. She has a mushroom scratcher that shes torn to pieces but she loves that thing to bits (literally). Shes playful, energetic, and LOVES wet food. Lola needs a quiet home with few to one people. She will swipe at you if you try and pet her without her giving you the nose boop of consent. All in all, this is a great cat if you are lonely and need a pal.

Hockney's story in pictures: Hockney is a loving, warm kitten who is a little quieter than his brothers. He's very active but just doesn't trumpet his conquests as much as his siblings. The pictures depict Hockney asking for HEB Lone Star crackers, helping himself to the bag, licking his lips for crumbs and then satisfied because he got a cracker! (He takes his crackers to the food bowl for eating.) Please note that he isn't covered in household dust--that is cracker dust! Soba is a 5-6 year old long hair cat. We acquired her online when she was 2 along with her sister. Her sister recently passed away due to an undiagnosed illness. Soba has not exhibited any of the symptoms in the months since, so we have concluded that it was not a communicable disease. Soba is a cat with a strong personality. She may not know what she wants, but she will demand it from you all day and night. She will paw at closed doors and yell throughout the house until she gets whatever attention she wants. Aside from that, she is a lovely cat that loves attention. She will sleep at the foot of your bed when she finally calms down at 2am. She will curl up in a cat bed under the desk. She will purr and ask for belly rubs and want to be around you a lot. Soba is litter trained and prefers a large, deep bed of litter that is cleaned every day. She eats dry food, Purina Cat Chow Naturals. She is missing her two upper fangs but the rest of her teeth are healthy.

Jan 2026 Update: Zoey is still looking for a good home and we hope that will be you. Zoey has been with us since 2013, when we rescued her. Prior to that, she was a stray. She is a highly affectionate cat, who warms up to adults and kids quickly and will cuddle for hours. She's still playful - she loves to chase after laser pointers and feathered toys, though she now prefers to spend most of her time lounging. Zoey needs to be in a stable, quiet home with no other cats. Both of our cats have become highly stressed out by each other. This was resolved by separating them with Zoey staying in our basement most of the time. However, we are now remodeling our basement and the noise and changes to her environment are really hard for her. It breaks our hearts, but Zoey would have a happier life as an only cat for somebody who can provide her with more stability. Though she's now a senior, she's healthy (last vet visit and bloodwork in December) and would make somebody a fantastic companion.
